Thursday Prompt: consequence
Since Tali Hartoh-Mason was created on The Electric Holt's "Galaxy Local 999" storyboard (a primitive form of what is called RP nowadays) in July, 1987, some thirty-five years ago, I figured the time was as good as any to recap some of my thoughts about how this came about...:)
Back then, one of the mainstays of "furry" fiction was "geeky guy meets cute furry gal and has consequence-free sex".
I've always been something of a smartass, so, when I decided to create a character inspired by
stevegallacci's art (see above; I added the TempCorps uniform in MacPaint around 1990 or so, using only a mouse. Damn, I was good, even back then), I decided to give the "consequence-free" bit a good hard yank...
And made her nine months pregnant owing to a previous encounter with Matt.
I'm not entirely sure, but I may have created the first furry MILF.

Wow, pretty good from way back then. Curious, how did you manage the "If I had the money I'd sue you all!" mentality from Steve at those times. By 1997 all of the furry archives of the day would ban your art if you mentioned Steve Gallacci in any form even tangentially. I'm pretty positive he would have had a monumental hissy fit if he saw this and probably would have threatened physical bodily harm or litigation (he did have a rather poor understanding of copyright law and I'm sure he would have been laughed out of court). He may be a personal friend (I dunno) and he has mellowed out significantly but at the time this was made, the man was a raving douche bag.
