Pogo is IMHO the greatest funny animal comic strip of all time.
Created by Disney veteran Walt Kelly (he was one of Dumbo's animators) the strip ran from 1948 to 1975 & was populated by the denizens of Georgia's Okefenokee Swamp. Kelly's love of language and his beautiful inking are a sight to beread and behold. (One of his characters was the quite fetching French femme skunk Miss Mam'selle Hepzibah*; in my fanon she and Pepe LePew are siblings.)
Pogo was also the Doonesbury of its day, with mid-20th century poiltical figures showing up in furry form. (Nikita Khruschev as a pig, Fidel Castro as a goat, Spiro Agnew as a hyena, etc.)
I was browsing a reprint book of Pogo strips in the library and came across the following strips, from an on-going story which I photographed w/my phone & squished together, thought the vore fans here would enjoy it. (I know it's not my art, but combining them as I did made it an original work, right? Right...?
BTW, the legendary furry fanzine Rowrbrazzle's name comes from an imaginary cussword used in the strip. This isn't the first time I've presented some Pogo art here, either: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34292772/

I thought this might be "Pogo" from the look of it! I used to see collections of "Pogo" comics very close to the other comic collections I'd see at Barnes and Noble, among others like "Calvin and Hobbes," Berke Breathed's "Bloom County" and "Outworld," and other similar-such. I knew someone at Disney was behind it, but I forgot who until I read this. Thank you!
