The story is pretty basic enough, as they just asked for a scenario in which Kion and Bunga from "The Lion Guard" would suddenly start fighting each other.
They gave me pretty free hands to do what I wished for, and I tried to keep it as true to the forms around the show and characters as I could.
Hopefully you will all enjoy it also.

"Ugh!"
"Argh!"
"Ohh!"
"Come on, furbrains! Let's get out of here!"
Like many other times, Janja and his two hyena goons had seen their plans ruined by The Lion Guard, and once more they were forced to escape the Pride Lands and return to the Outlands.
"That's right Janja! Just run away, unless you want to go another round with the Bunga-Banga!" The honey badger member of the group shouted to the retrieving hyenas, as the rest of the group just rolled their eyes over how Bunga always had to try rubbing it into their enemies after they defeat them.
"I appreciate your enthusiasm, Bunga. But when we defeat them it is due to us working as a team." Kion (The Lion Guard lion leader.) pointed out, which Bunga just brushed off and counted "Yeah, but without me being there to land that final punch, those guys would still be on their feet fighting back."
"Here we go again..." Fuli said to herself, but Bunga picked it up and asked a bit upset "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?"
"Just that at times you seem to think you got both Kion's strength and Beshte's size with the way you speak." Fuli said back to him, before then looking over at their supermassive hippo friend and adding a quick "No offense, Beshte." to which he just said back "None taken."
"Wait, wait, wait," Bunga said as he walked forward to stop the rest of the group from moving. "Are you trying to imply that Kion would be stronger than me?"
"I mean, I thought that was as Ono would put it, 'Common Knowledge, really'." Fuli told Bunga, with the others looking like they didn't have anything else to add.
"Wha...do all of you guys seriously think so?" Bunga asked genuinely shocked, as Ono very delicately said back "Well, when imagining the two of you fighting each other, the odds of you coming out on top seems...just very unlikely.", and Beshte added, "I'm sorry Bunga, but I think I have to agree with Fuli on this one."
"Okay, enough now!" Kion said as he took a step forward, placing himself between the groups. "I do not care about who is the 'strongest' or 'weakest' in a team, since we are all needed to help protect the Pride Lands, and that's what's most important."
This only seemed to rub Bunga more the wrong way, as he walked up to Kion and said back "You don't need to try to start acting 'humble' with me, pal.", making the lion let out a confused "What?" over the strange turn this was taking.
"I know I'm stronger than you, and I want to prove it!" Bunga said, before then demanding that he and Kion should have a proper battle to see who was truly the strongest member of the team!
Kion didn't really see the point in what such a task would achieve, but knowing how stubborn Bunga could be he figured the best way to end this was to just take on his silly offer and get it over with.
"Okay, fine. I'll fight you." Kion said, surprising the rest of the three members of the group.
"But let's make one thing clear. You're not allowed to use your big roar, since that would be cheating." Bunga told Kion, to which Fuli butted in and added "And in that case, you shouldn't be allowed to use any of your gassy farts either."
"Wait, what?!" Bunga asked surprised, to which Fuli grinned and asked back "What's the matter? Afraid you won't be able to handle Kion, without letting out some gas clouds?"
"O-Of course not!" Bunga said and agreed to her offer, as Kion whispered to her "Why was that necessary exactly?", to which the cheetah girl replied, "Trust me. As someone who has ended up unlucky enough to catch the smell of one of those, his farts can be just as effective as your roar."
Having settled the rules for their little match to prove who was truly the strongest, Kion and Bunga were standing inside a drawn-up circle that would work as their battlefield.
"Rules are simple. Whoever gets the other one outside of the circle win, and with a few exceptions everything is allowed!" Bunga told Kion, as the honey badger was looking VERY eager to start and prove himself.
Kion was a lot calmer and focused, as he honestly didn't think this would take long for him to win. (But naturally, he was way too kind-hearted to say that sort of thing out loud.)
"Ready, set...GO!" Bunga shouted out, and almost instantly he came charging like crazy towards Kion!
When he wanted to Bunga could really be one wild animal, as even someone as brave as Kion got slightly worried as he made the first dodge of the match.
But being a lot quicker with his smaller body Bunga immediately turned around and made a second leap, this time landing on top of Kion!
Being now in a dominant position the honey badger decided to grab a hold of Kion's mane while using his hind legs to kick into the lion's sides. (Treating it like he was riding a wild horse on a rodeo.)
This was all a very humiliating situation for Kion to be in, as the lion spent some time just jumping and kicking in vain attempts to literally get Bunga off his back.
"Come on Kion! I've been riding alligators that have been trickier than this!" Bunga bragged as he couldn't help but let go of one hand to wave to the "crowd" of their remaining 3 teammates watching on.
That was the moment Kion needed to make a sudden rush forward, followed by an immediate stop, leading to Bunga getting completely tossed off the back of the lion and landing hard on the ground back first!
He didn't even get a chance to get up as Kion pinned him down with both of his front paws, asking his friend if he was giving up now.
"As if I've ever let you win that easy!" Bunga said back before then biting down deep into one of Kion's legs, making his friend cry out in pain as he lifted that arm, and gave Bunga the chance needed to escape his grip.
Looking at the bite marks left on his front arm, a now much more angry-looking Kion glared back at Bunga and asked, "What in Pride Lands' name did you do that for?!"
"Rules didn't say anything that we couldn't bite each other." Bunga said back casually to Kion, before adding "You are allowed to do the same, but if you fear your teeth might not have the same bite as a honey badger's then..."
"Oh, I'll show you just how much pain my teeth can do to you!" Kion snarled back, as his friends started to get seriously worried over how far Bunga was pushing him.
Even Bunga seemed at least a little bit worried now (even if he was trying his best to avoid showing it to his friends.), but being all part of his plan the honey badger then decided to tempt fate some more by turning around and present his rear end to his friend. (Even going so far as to bend down so much that he was looking at Kion upside down, from between his legs.)
"Since I'm not allowed to use my gas it makes this space completely defenseless! So why not take your chance, and show me what you REALLY got?" Bunga asked, all in a way to provoke his friend into acting more on animal impulse instead of tactics. (And it seemed to be working a little TOO well.)
Acting before thinking Kion came charging like a predator towards prey against Bunga, who when watching his friend attacking while in this awkward position knew that timing would be key to not end REALLY badly!
Just when Kion was about to leap towards him did Bunga bailout, as the honey badger made a cartwheel spin to the side as Kion came crashing down eating some dirt inside of his friend's butt.
The position of where Bunga had been doing his little reckless act of "live bait" had been very important, since he had been standing close to the very edge of the circle, meaning that he could have Kion lose it all simply by ending up outside the line.
His plan almost worked, but while sliding Kion's hunting instinct had him quickly turning his whole body around, and leaping back in opposite direction, missing barely to have any of his paws and ending up stepping over the wrong side of the line. (Something that made all of his friends let out a small gasp, over how exciting this battle had become.)
Seeing that his plan had failed made Bunga look a lot more nervous, and witnessing the now very wild beast charging towards him Bunga could only let out a quick "Uh oh!", before being forced to (literally) run for his life!
Watching Kion chasing Bunga around in circles like this left the rest of the Lion Guard pretty unsure on if they should interfere or not.
On one hand, this was still just meant as a simple game for the two to prove who was truly "the strongest", but at this point, one had to wonder if Kion still saw it as just a game?
For Bunga, all those dodges and running that he usually had to do from hungry hyenas proved to be very useful even against Kion, as the honey badger noticed that his chaser was starting to very quickly run out of breath.
Sensing victory to be within his grasp Bunga decided to "go big or go home", as he waited for Kion to try to make another leap towards him, and in the very last moment made a back flip into the air, causing Kion to hit his face into the dirt, and for him to land on top of Kion's back once more!
"Ready for round two now?" Bunga asked, as he once more pulled out the "rodeo" trick again, knowing that this time it should be a lot more effective due to Kion being a lot more tired now.
His instincts were correct as while the lion was still putting up a lot of shaking and jumping around, it was a lot easier for Bunga to keep stable and remain in the "seat" during this ride.
Kion had now gone from pure anger into just being very annoyed over Bunga still getting the better of him, as he just wished for a way to attack his foe most unexpectedly.
That's when his tail ended up gracefully stroking against the back of Bunga, causing the honey badger to let out a soft snicker in response.
Hearing that laughter seemed to do something to Kion, as he was finally able to break free from his obsessions of winning, and just realize to be more like Bunga and trying to have some fun with it.
Bunga was always known to use very childish tricks to get the upper hand, so why shouldn't Kion now try beating the honey badger at his own level?
Knowing that he would be super focused on remaining his grip around his mane, Kion used his tail to start stoking and tickling all over Bunga's body, causing the honey badger to quickly start losing his focus.
"hah...n-no fair...hahahaha!...s-stop it...hahaHA!...K-Kion...HAHAHAHA!!!" Bunga cried out in laughter as Kion's tail was slithering like a snake all over him, making it harder and harder for him to remain seated on the lion.
Sensing the grip around his mane getting weaker Kion saw his chance now, as he leaped over to the edge of the circle, where he made one hard thrust to the side, sending Bunga falling off his back and tumbling out of the ring!
Once Bunga was able to breathe properly again could he sit up and realize that he had lost, which made him let out a small "Oh man." over how close he had been.
"Hey. Just wanted to say that was a really good fight you put up there." Kion said as he walked over to his fellow fighter, making Bunga slightly surprised as he asked "R-Really?"
"Yeah, really." Kion replied. "True, at first I just thought you were doing cheap tricks, and simply trying to get on my nerves. But then I realized that was just your way of being strategies."
"I...I was?" Bunga asked confused, clearly not used to being called such hard-sounding words.
"Yes. Maybe you didn't realize it yourself, but you managed to figure out my pride was my weakness, and chipping away on that enough made me start acting out without thinking." Kion explained, with Bunga adding to himself "And it sure made you a lot more creepy..."
"Honestly, I can imagine if we were to do this again you could probably win." Kion said to Bunga, before then looking at the rest of the team. "But I know that when we are all working with each other's strengths, then we will always end up winning whatever battle we take on!"
"True...but I'm sure if we do this again soon, then I will win for sure." Bunga said confident, with Kion leaning in close and whispering to his friend "Don't push it.", as the group finally decided to return home as the sun was starting to set across the savannah.
