Prince of Palaven.

"In a single day and night of misfortune, the island of Palaven disappeared into the depths of the sea."

The fabled city of Palaven, a continent somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic was believed to be the home of an advanced civilization, possessing technology far beyond any species today. The Turians. 10,000 years ago, before the Asari built the pyramids, Turians had electricity, advanced medicine and even the power of flight. Numerous ancient cultures all over the globe agreed that Palaven possessed a power source of some kind. More powerful than, steam, coal or even the most modern day internal combustion engines. According to a forgotten scholar though, this island was suddenly struck by some cataclysmic event that sank it beneath the sea.
