Warren is a human soldier who lost his familial platoon during the first few days of the Rynar invasion. After a final last-scale assault via helicopter, he and his squadron were shot down. And when Warren tracked off to their destination for much-needed assistance, he stood absent witness to hearing the last of his squadron be found by the alien invaders.

With nothing left to keep him going but the hope of getting payback for his lost close friends, he took up arms against the alien invaders. Expecting to lose his life, he hopes to take one of the skyborne giants with him.

Alice is a UTO engineer, never meant to see the front lines of war. But in haste to come and help humanity, she and her small team were met with heavy air resistance as they tried to land planet-side. Shot down by two miniature planes, the Tordenchi was the only one to survive the subsequent crash.

Stranded amid Rynar occupied territory, she is mistaken as an enemy by a prowling Warren. After nearly killing him by accident, an explosion left a nasty wound on her leg. She was left to face against a lone Rynar scout and soon after to tend to an unconscious Warren...

Tribulations followed, and after Alice tried to help the panicking human, she accidentally burned off his leg.

With Alice terrified of an alien world and Warren scared and angry of his 'jailor,' the duo made it from the city to a forest ranger hut. Where Alice examines her dwindling power gear, and Warren assesses his options while under the gaze of the giant rodent.

And soon, he turns his eyes to a HAM radio in a small shack he'd taken refuge in...
