Looks like Mrs. Pteranodon forgot to pack some clean diapers for Buddy to change out of in case he really had to go... Thankfully, Mr. Conductor has managed to find some spare Training pants he saved from Gilbert's potty training days, for Buddy to change into!
Although the question of WHERE he will be changed, is still on the table!
(btw, I haven't watched Dinosaur Train, so I don't know much about this series.)

<LoL!> What's most interesting about 'Dinosaur Train' is how it has been making episodes and specials since 2009. The most recent movie / special came out in 2020, or 2021! (It's pretty good and, more surprisingly, still has father and daughter VAs, Ian and clare Corlette, retaining their roles as Mr. Conductor and Tiny Pteranodon.).

Given the nature of the show, which had two adventures per episode, I can see this one starting out with Mr. Conductor pulling down his projector screen to tell us that we, the audience, are about to learn about how some dinosaurs take just a bit longer than others to know when they have to go. Perhaps it could be a bit of a follow-up to the "Dinosaur Poop" episode where we get introduced to Tiny's 'Potty Dance'. Tiny is doing pretty good having gotten through her toilet training, but Buddy is not quite there with Don, Shiny, and Tiny.
Buddy, being very proud of how smart he is, has his "Hypothesis" as to why he still can't use the potty like Tiny, Shiny, and Don. The hypothesis being how he is a Tyranosaurus Rex while the rest of his family are Pteranodons. We then would see other youngsters on the train who are in various stages of toilet training in which all are different species of dinosaurs.
For comedy relief, Mrs. Conductor could be on the train and joke about how Mr. conductor was a "Late Bloomer". This could make Gilbert, his nephew, a surprised look due to how he, like the other kids in the main cast, all idolize the talented Troodon.
After Tiny shares some of how she has learned to recognize as signs to head for the potty, Buddy would build upon his hypothesis of how different dinosaurs learn to use the potty in different ways and at different times. He'd get to talk with kids still in diapers, kids in training pants, and kids who are just getting out of needing a portable potty wrapped around their waist.
The episode would end with Buddy, now in the training pants given to him by Mr. Conductor, uses what he has learned to go to the bathroom on the train and come out dry.
