It’s lazy Team Rocket engineering. Imagine if they had another opportunity to study a Mewtwo and fully understood it’s powers and make a suit that actually works this time, that would be interesting

A very rare case of Mew's feet touching the ground. That already makes this pose feel rather unique and fascinating. Very lovely little personal display stage. I love the aesthetic of all those thick shackles and chains keeping Mew in place in the middle, with all the important parts, wrists, feet, tail and neck secured, while leaving the middle section of Mew's body completely bare and on full display. Good work with that expression as well, conveying so much emotion with just those eyes, even with the mouth taped up and almost fully hidden.

Yep, he be standing there. Mewtwo stands like that so makes sense to me Mew would too. I know there's a sprite of Mew standing differently in one of the older games but Mewtwo stood the same way in that game too and no longer does, so not sure if that's how it should look or not.

Oh yeah, that makes sense! And honestly, even if Mew wouldn't stand this way on his own, it's a fun idea that his captors set the restraints up to force him to stand like Mewtwo does. ...in fact I kinda like this idea even more now.
