I've been tied up in other activities, and have not had time for DIY electronics lately. But one of the things on my to-do list was finishing this power supply. I've been sitting on the parts for it for nearly two years now. I finally found the time to get PCBs made, and I assembled it just this last week. Aside from a simple (but frustrating) miscalculation and the needed fix, everything is working great.
My circuit breadboarding has been sidelined for a while due to lack of power supply, but now I've remedied that. So now work can continue once I find some time.
Likewise, the music recording has been light, but I'm planning to start picking that up again.
Stay tuned.

You've got to have one!
I went to the MIT Swap Fest (The Flea at MIT) yesterday. It had been three years, with COVID and all, and my back and legs are so not doing well, but it was still interesting. I did see Radio Shark's old basic Jones 12V automotive replacement power supply for $10. I got a lot of them back when I worked for the Shark. There was a better, regulated supply for more money, and I always tried to upsell my customers on it. It usually fixed whatever their problem was, if they came back.
I didn't buy much, but I did find a copy of INSIDE ENIGMA: The Secrets of the Enigma and other Historic Cipher Machines and had it signed by the author, Professor Tom Perera.
I also bought a couple of almost-new Cambridge Soundworks bookshelf speakers to replace the 1980s-vintage Minimus-7s on my computer table. I'll need to update the connections on the cables a little -- they use a standard banananana plug.

Wowwww...
Those are some really nice finds! I'm afraid to go to one of those swap meet type meetings with electronic treasures, I would spend all my money and accumulate too much stuff I never get around to using lol.
That's really cool about the Enigma machine. And a nice set of Cambridge speakers...I wish I had room for stuff like that.

My house is so packed I hardly have room for more books (the Enigma book is looking for its 'forever home') but the Cambridge speakers will replace the RadShark set, which will go into a bin of kinda-usable audio wquipment in cold storage -- probably in my storage unit.
