Costs the company less, but Mirabelle is marketed as an elite operator and commands elite prices. In that particular case the advertising is honest.

They could, but Mirabelles who are properly brainwashed aren't interested. There might be a few 'defective' rogue Miras though that might be, though...

The damage to the undercarriage of that APC really helps to sell the authenticity of the scene -- you'll see exactly those kinds of scratches on any riot-control vehicle that's built for plowing through obstacles, and judging by the height, density and angles, I'd wager this one's driven over and through everything from fences and concrete barriers to parked vehicles. (Doesn't look like it's been through a wall, though, given the tip of the front bumper is unscathed -- and nor do I see any scoring on the top half, so it's not been attacked either.)

I admit I didn't do too much direct research on that specific part of the piece, so the way I colored and drew it made a degree of sense realistically. Thank you for the really insightful analysis, your thoughts are definitely on the mark in terms of what the APC would be going through.

I imagine the Mirabelles are the ones running the company, and have goals to convert all of humanity into more of themselves and either exterminate or “fix” the Mirabelles who’s original identities weren’t fully erased
