9 months have passed since Blackfire started her period of redemption and adaptation from earthly life, the therapy she underwent by training hard to master her powers to do good and save the innocent as well as having to be tied/gagged once a day for 3 hours. Now she has totally transformed and is officially the 6th member of the Teen titans, she does a lot of activities with her friends, especially with her sister and Raven where Raven has managed to control her powers and emotions so well that it doesn't become dangerous for her and the people around her if she doesn't apply self-control that she has become almost as jovial as Starfire to the point of putting on a cheerleading act.

As for Beastboy, Robin and Cyborg, they headed to the prison where they had confronted Cinderblock at the beginning of episode 1 Divide and conquer in order to track a tracking signal contained in the robot posing as Slade who had attacked Beastboy while making him doubt in his mind why Terra had forgotten him during the events of episode 65 Things change, which led them right into a trap where they were propelled into a wormhole that sent them to another planet in the galaxy but Robin was able to throw away her communicator to serve as a GPS so the girls could find them.

Having to interrupt their training to save their friends, Starfire, Blackfire and Raven didn't have time to change outfits and left in a hurry for the rescue mission that turned into a disaster as they arrived at the place where they found Robin's communicator and were knocked out by a soporific gas that acted in 3 seconds.

When they woke up, they were tightly bound/gagged and fitted with the inhibitor necklace to neutralize their powers but who owns this technology besides Cyborg for developing these gadgets and who is responsible for everything that happened to the Teen titans ?
