I am sick and had trouble concentrating so this took a week to finish.

In chapter *checks* 7 of my Ape Escape fanfic Spike kinda blows up on Monkey Yellow petting him like a cat several times and I wondered if that was a bit mucho? I mean personal space boundaries are a thing and do you want any giant naked monkey petting you? But it also felt like more so I was gonna tone it down.

BUT THEN I WAS LIKE

"Wait... what if Spike... had a sensitive scalp..... what if it's.... Dare I say.... an embarrassing erogenous zone for him???? And he's trapped.... on a space station.... full of sapient animals who.... perform Social grooming?!?!?! >:3c COMEDY GOLD!!!!"

BUT THEN I WAS LIKE

"Wh-what if Specter's first moment of actually taking... interest... in Spike--" ((Because one of the tougher things in this was trying to get the two dunderheads to see each other romantically as I don't think either of them would default the other to potential romantic partner)) "--was a scene where he 'rewards' Spike for being good with a nice session of picking at imaginary bugs off of him only to notice that despite Spike's best efforts to ignore the ministrations, he likes likes the feeling of Specter's hands in his hair caressing his scalp. This doesn't go unnoticed by Specter, but not in his usually 'HOHOHO! What do we have here?' way, but in a '...whuuuuuuut?' way. Almost transfixed he changes positions from sitting behind Spike to sitting in front of him on his lap to see his face better, never removing his hands from the human's hair... hardly aware himself that whatever his grooming is doing to the human... he likes that he's the one doing it." And then something hilariously interruptive happens and he throws Spike out of the room and ignores him for a while while he has to sort his feefee's about that. Meanwhile Spike is... also gotta sort out his feefee's about what happened back there.

AND THEN I WAS LIKE THE SKELETON MEME WHERE HE GOES "Yes. YEEES. YEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!"
