Prompt: Getting a Shot
Probably the least diaper-oriented of my illustrations so far.
- Daniel's at Clara's clinic with her cousin's 5-year-old daughter, Tina the Happiny. Tina loves visiting her mom and aunts' workplace, dreams of working there when she's older, and isn't afraid of getting a checkup. The latter can't be said for Daniel. Imagine a Pawniard afraid of sharp, pointy objects!
Tina offering him a soda is a reference to
jahubbard's take on this prompt, in which they substituted a medical shot with a "shot" of cola: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34267520/.
Personally, in situations like this, singing helps calm my nerves. Once a few years ago, I sang Man of La Mancha while getting a shot, to which my mom remarked that it was not something you'd expect a teenage girl to sing.
- This is roughly how I imagine Double D would respond to getting a shot. The question is would he be more or less chicken than Kevin?
Speaking of which, I have this Ed, Edd n' Eddy AU where the characters are all Pokémon, and in it, Kevin is a Pawniard. Guess between him and you-know-who, that makes two needle-frightened Pawniards!
- Dark joke incoming: How about some matches, a weed farm, and a barn?
Now, seriously, folks, Shelley's a tough gal. I doubt she'd be like Cartman and run around squealing like a pig.
Speaking of that particular episode, it appears Shelley's become "artistic" (a pun I, as someone on the autism spectrum, find hilarious). Try to identify each of her scribbles.
