Several months after the events on Snaktooth Island...some occurrences were taking place. In a matter of time it turned out that Wambus and Triffany were going to have their second child.
Uncertainty was there. The couple weren't the youngest grumpuses anymore, their older son, Tobiano, can't be there all the time due to his job of being a police officer. Complications are more likely to happen. But despite all of this...they still went through.
Regular check-ups happened and the couple take things easier. But nothing happened as expected and the second egg was laid ten days before due date through C-section.
It went well, thankfully. Another three months would pass before the egg would hatch, revealing a dark blue grumpling. A little girl. She sleeps inside the pouch of her mother...and a name was decided.

Giving other grumpuses some attention, I'll show what Triffany and Wambus have been up to in the Averieverse.
Tobiano Troubleblog is the eldest son of the pair, and around the age of Gramble (early 20s). He's busy being a police officer of the NGPD (New Grump City Police Department) and had a strained relationship with his parents (especially with his father) after taking off to to police academy. After the events of Snaktooth, the three met halfway. The strain happened due to Tobiano wanting to become a police officer, rather than a farmer like his father. Things have been improving however.
As for the youngest family member...some occurrences have taken place and she was a surprise child. Unexpected, but certainly not unloved. The doctors just had to keep an eye on Triffany through all of this, as she's not in an age where grumpuses would have another child. It's not unheard of a middle-aged grumpus having a child, but it's clearly uncommon.
Some scenes revolving freshly hatched grumplings would probably be a bit outdated, as I had a different headcanon in mind. However, I ended up liking the one where grumpuses are oviparous marsupials (aka laying eggs and developing a pouch).
Both gender can develop a pouch. The other partner is able develop a pouch through pheromones of the gestating parent, in which hormones are produced.
