I think, to varying degrees, we all have different faces; different sides of ourselves that we can only express in certain places, or around certain people. Figuring out I had a fox-side, and learning how that coexisted with my dragon-side (or didn't!), has been an unusual journey of introspection in how I deal with vulnerability.

But I won't wax-poetic anymore than that. Point is, it was really self-affirming in a way I wasn't expecting, when my friend Likeable threw this little curveball at me. I had not been expecting both 'sides' of me to be represented in this piece, but seeing my playful, mischievous, aloof fae-kitsune next to the apparition of my more calm, collected dragon side just felt right.
