TV_thari 2022 Art Summary
Welp, here we are! Another year has passed and another Art summary meme to upload :>
Ill go straight too the months cause a lot has happened this year :D
January:
A super fun art commission done with the awesome
. This year I really wanted too focus on more dynamic poses and complex angles. Id say with this piece it was defenitly a great start of the year!
February:
Earlier this year I got asked too become a convention artist for the dutch brony con ‘’Ponycon Holland’’. This was definitely such a fun new chapter and I got too draw so many awesome pieces. This also allowed my art too reach the pony community and gain more of a traction there aswell.
This was the image I did for the theme announcement for that years con and you can definitely tell I had way to much fun with this.
March:
Apparently after finishing my umbreon headbag for Luna. A lot more people were interested in commissioning a bag from me! This was my first headbag commission done for my sweet friend hazel. It was a great learning curve and my bags are getting better with each bag I make. I hope this year I can actually open up some slots for these, cause they are a lot of fun to make.
April:
A somewhat slow month due too all the cons ive had this year. This was a gifty I made for my American friend ShaqualHellhound who I got too meet at Elfia that year! It was so fun doing a shoot togheter at FWH, Im glad I got too know you Shaq!
May:
This month I did a lot of badges for cons, but this one I did for Knaptandart has too be by far my favourite. Not only cause it’s a unique species (ferret) but also because its such a fun and gorgeous character. I had all the freedom to go all out and Im very happy with this beautiful lady <3
Jun:
Another badge but this time for my friend Alunar, this badge I was given absolute full freedom… and I took that quite far! I experimented with the way I do frames and honestly this has too be one of my favourite badges ever.
July:
Panriel approached me if I was interested in making a drawing for the Eurofurence 26 ‘’Enter The Arena’ trophies. OFCOURSE I SAID YES! This was double fun cause I was planning on attending this competition aswell. I love the drawing its so quirky and cute (also yay female representation).And in a complete state of disbelieve, I actually won the competition! So now the thropy holds a lot of meaning for me, not only for winning but also cause it my own art <3 and I think that’s really cool ;v;
Aug:
This was the background artwork I made for my performance at the Abunaicon Dance competition! It was so cool too see my art on such a big screen, and it fitted really well with my dance and aesthetic! I ended up placing at this competition as well and became 3th!
( I did not upload the full image online cause umbreon art gets stolen a lot, and I don’t want my hard work to fall in some scummy persons hands ^^’’)
Sept:
Gift patches I made for my awesome friend shaqual, Nothing much too say actually. I just think these turned out really cool!
October:
This was the month of which PonyconHolland was held with my first year as art-team member :D.
It was SO COOL too see my artwork all around the con and see everyone’s hard work being fully displayed! I even got some of the merch items ive designed and these are such fun trinkets to have! This art piece was used for the weekend tickets and almost the entire con wore them! So frikking cool!!!
Nov:
A super fun experimental piece I did, I really wanted to go all out and try new things with the background and lighting details. And omg… this has too be one of my favourite pieces this year. It came out EXACTLY like I wanted too and the Nami and Pinky loved it! This definitely kick-started me on doing trying even more different things.
Dec:
A super fun commission done by a friend of mine for our mutual friend sloppy! Its just a very fun and cute commission. Definitely took what I learned this year and made a fun final piece!
Sooooooo! This concluded my 2022 Art summary!
I sadly did not make every point of my wishes from last year (mainly sculpting and fursuit work). But I did make great steps with my artwork and skills! This year I could see a great improvement in my anatomy, lighting and overall art looks and I am super pleased with this <3
For next year I definitely want to make myself a fursuit again, and im super eager to get into doing more fursuit headbags!
Thanks for everyone who stuck around, even tho I couldn’t do a lot of commissions this year. I hope on being able to bring more next year!
