OK i made another one…

I say this every time BUT I may change his colors idk yet. I want to keep an earthy tone, despite the mushroom his appearance is based on being white.

UM SO Mycelium was made to help observe and study the effects of plastic-eating fungi, along with being the first to also fully break down plastic and use as fuel. He can speed up his digestive processes but only for a short amount of time. He can ALSO accelerate decomposition within a certain area by rooting his feet or his hands and releasing artificial enzymes that nearby fungi can use. The enzymes are a potent enough that where it can take weeks for inorganic materials to break down normally now can go down to a few days, depending on the amount. (Not shown but he can extend his digits pretty far like palmon)

Most of these are lab projects so he almost never gets to go out much unfortunately. He likes the work and loves to care for the shrooms, but he doesn’t get much interaction outside the researchers and the other rms in the organization. The few times he does go out, he likes to dig through the soils and check nutrient levels while snacking on whatever litter is left around.

Personality wise… he’s not shy at all, but he does get overwhelmed when a lot of attention is on him. Because his face is covered most of the time and he tends to be quiet and still, its hard to get a read on his feelings. He is NOT afraid to tell ppl what he is thinking tho, can be very blunt but not mean about it. Mycelium is very quick to apologize if he does hurt someone. He tries very hard to socialize whenever he goes somewhere, every day is a learning experience and u can only pick up so much from your coworkers.
