Male Makangoes howl to relieve stress. They typically do this once a month around the time of the full moon. When Glyph noticed his sons were being becoming ever more agitated he realized that they were around the age that they needed to start howling. It can be awkward to howl for your first time, so Glyph took his boys outside to teach them how to properly howl and he will stay with them even it takes until dawn for them to finish. He wants to show them that it is natural and healthy to howl. Omega howls the longest and usually sleeps for about twelve hours afterwards. Glyph never had anyone to teach him how to howl when he was young, made him feel alone, and caused him a lot of trouble growing up. Glyph is determined to make sure his children have a better life than he had.
