Name: Ian Finnerland
Age: Unknown
Nickname: //
Species: Undead Elf
Birthplace: Caelestis Empire
Height: 5,90 feet or 1,80m
Personality: For some people immortality is a gift, for others is a curse... in Ian's mind, immortality is the path to complete madness.
The undead elf was once the most classic of pirates: a captain who sailed full of dreams, in hope to find adventures and challenges on his path... only to have all of his certainties crashed by a traitor in his crew. Jack Bouchard, that's the name of the traitor, unknowingly from the rest of the crew was a necromancer, and lead a mutiny against his captain: during the night, he killed one by one his crewmates in their sleep, summoning them back as undead under his service, and reserving to his captain a fate way worse than the others.
Jack made Ian immortal, preventing his soul to pass away, and abandoning him on a little island lost in the sea, to let him live the rest of eternity in solitude.
Years and years went by, and as time passed, the now undead elf tried to kill himself in any way possible, without succeeding; nor physical damage nor spells could send him to the underworld for good, making him fall, attempt after attempt, in an infinite spyral of madness.
Nothing had remained of the dreamer he was once, leaving only an empty shell, full of rage and sorrow: with the passing years, Ian became an egocentric and narcissistic being, with the only goal of venting all of his anger and hatred on anyone who crosses his path. Pirates, marines, even simple people travelling through the sea, no one is safe from his rage and his blade.
Driven by his own pain, Ian is the type who underestimates everyone who fights with him: he looks down on people showing it blatantly, so sure with his immortality that no being on earth could beat him; the undead elf mocks his enemies, enjoys seeing them suffer as he beats them down, praising them only if they actually surprise him... an occurrence more unique than rare.
Elegance, class and beauty are very important factors for him, as, even is he's back from the grave, he still takes a lot of care of his own appearance, as well as wearing expensive clothes and wielding high quality weapons, such as his "Persephone", a sword made in elven steel: a rare fine metal that only elves know how to work, able to easily cut trough iron while being very light in weight.
Crude and rough people, such as the Deadly Crocodile or the Big Bad Wolf, aren't so much noteworthy in his eyes, and totally not on his level, considering them way under his league.
Even if being so haughty and self-centred, Ian, deep down in his mind, has a single dream he wants to fulfil: finding someone strong enough to overcome his immortality, and finally make him rest in peace once and for all.
Abilities: Being cursed by Jack Bouchard, Ian is immortal at 360°: he cannot die by natural means, like drowning or starvation, as well as from both physical and magical attacks; each one of his wounds regenerates very fast, and if a limb or another part of his body is separated from it, he can still move it without any problems, like he did when Edgar decapitated him, and he controlled his body to take his head back from the crocodile.
He's a very skilled fencer, having an elegant and refined style in his sword fighting, to which he can mix a bit of magic: he can enhance his attacks by channelling mana in his sword, creating actual blades of wind that he can shoot from "Persephone". His strongest attack, in that regards, is the "Shipwreck Vortex", a single, enormous blade of wind, wide and strong enough to cut a ship in two.
