Seems Princess Sally Acorn isn't too happy to hear her memories have been used for dirty deeds and Sonic the Hedgehog isn't too happy by these developments as well. Though it looks like Metallix isn't playing around here either @_@;
Luckily the rest of the gang has arrived to help out, also allowing Julie-Su to show off in front of Lara-Su XD Carmelita Fox and Bunnie Rabbot should be good at long ranged attacks but Sly Cooper didn't exactly bring a laser gun, so he'll have to help in a different way. Even Hershey and co get to show their worth as well as they protect the city from the walls.
Here's hope they all make calamari out of that robo Kraken :D

Of course not. In base form, Sly basically armed with Connor's Cane, several gadgets like his Rocket Boots, Rage Bombs, Music Boxes, and Alarm Clocks, and also all the techniques, powers, and spells used by his entire family passed down via the Thievius Raccoonus, which involve wielding lightning, speeding up, slowing down, or briefly stopping the flow of time, turning invisible, project a defensive energy barrier, teleport short to moderate distances, confuse enemies into attacking each other, briefly defying gravity to nullify damage taken from lethal heights, water safety to nullify water damage taken, passively attracting coins, banknotes, jewelry, and pickup items in a small to moderate radius, and using lightning for physical attacks.
Surprisingly, he had to add some variety in his innately wide arsenal and skillset between the games.
I can imagine how much more powerful Sly could be harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds to turn into a golden super form, similarly to Sonic, Shadow, and Silver. And much to Clockwerk's surprise and interest, Super Sly could show the robotic homicidal megalomaniac how undefeatable the Cooper Clan can be.

Yep. And Sly's powers would be drastically enhanced, not to mention having invulnerability, superhuman physique (includes strength, stamina, durability, endurance, speed, agility, dexterity, and reflexes), precognitive instincts and foresight, flight by levitation, telekinesis similarly to Silver, entrapping enemies like Sonic did with the Ancients' Titans, and Chaos Emerald powers like Shadow.
I guess I kinda want him and Carmelita (or at least him) standing there alongside Sonic and Sally trying to strategize and coordinate dealing with the problem(s) as a double couple (Team SonAmy personally!) so it feels like a proper crossover that doesn’t necessarily favor one side over the other. Just feels like Sly and Carmelita are guests in the title like Knuckles and Julie-Su would often seem when they left the island and would get involved with Freedom Fighter affairs compared to their own. I’m thinking something like Playstation Moves Heroes.
Could you imagine Sly and Sonic bickering styles given that Sonic is bombastic and straightforward (not unlike Carmelita) while Sly prefers his skulky stealth style which really gels with Sally and her methods? I’m sure you got something planned already though. Cheers!

If you think about it, might seem a bit weird for Sly and Carmelita to try and force their way into a leadership role when they're currently in a kingdom with a King and Council. During the court trial they already gave their information about Dr. M and Clockwerk, so they know the kingdom is informed.
Though chances are some of that stuff would have happened... if the kingdom wasn't attacked in the morning before they planned to really buckle down and strategize their game plan XD
