Backstory:
Astrid has always had both ego and anger issues, made worse by constant teasing from her siblings about being short for a dragon. Astrid, the eldest of her siblings, believed the florrenci created by her parents were not up to par with her standards, becoming the first to create her own subspecies; the glacial florrenci. Astrid surrounds herself with greatness, and both her and her followers are willing to show off their superiority at any time. Astrid took to the western Elun, settling in the Vetarís Ice Sheets when the war broke out, training her valkyries to destroy the competition. While she’s hardly impressed and tends to feel uninterest and disgust towards most, Astrid is actually overprotective of her Florrenci, going as far as to make them her hoard. As soon as the valkyries were forced to fight an actual threat, Astrid couldn’t bring herself to let them potentially get hurt. Most Florrenci wouldn’t believe that Astrid is overprotective of her own Florrenci, given she actively detests any non-glacial Florrenci, seeing them as inferior to her champions. Astrid commonly takes her florrenci form to train her valkyries, and to snuggle with the champions that make up her hoard.
