The strange dragonic captor (vore)
personally i would imagine the gigginox as a sort of mix between a dragon and maybe a salazzle maybe, that's sort of what i was thinking when writing.
Note: I wrote all this after being inspired by this piece on DA https://www.deviantart.com/pokeman3.....inox-450180370 when I wrote this at the time I thought a gigginox was a slug-like dragon thing, although i was kinda wrong after searching it up, so that's why this may seem strange. anyways enjoy.
After a long trek of many travels, a famous adventurer/hero named only by Jon, had gotten lost. It was not by accident he had gone wandering, his travels had made him forget what home was like, and yet the life traveling of and fighting was slowly weighing him down, so he went deep into the woods. He wasn't sure what he was pondering. a lot of ideas bounced around his head. his place in the world, why he was even pushing anymore. most of all how tired he felt now after all this time.
In his thoughts he was oblivious to the things that lurk in such unexplored places, yet even if he had been paying attention he wouldn't have noticed the dragonic sort of monster stalking him stalking him until it was too late.
A large figure swept up behind Jon without him realizing it, having been sitting behind a rock trying to light a small campfire to warm his hands quickly before continuing on his wander. However the strange sort of web claw dragged his backpack a bit before tossing it far away. The adventurer heard the crash and looked back.
He was shocked to see a strange reptilian and dragonic creature staring at him. He believed it looked like a gigginox, although this didn't have the wormlike mouth, and had a jaw with a snouty face to it. He could clearly see injector fangs hanging outside it's mouth, meant to inject poison into its victim. It was also more scaly then would be expected, had it adapted to drier colder climates? If he hadn't been so preoccupied Jon would have also noticed the gigginox type creature had more finger-like digits on its hands, compared to normal gigginox almost frog like hands. In fact, there were claw like digits practically on this particular specimen, not even fingers really. Not quite as sharp like dragonic talons, however.
Claws aside, with all his magic items and sword in the backpack having been tossed away, Jon realized his options clearly were limited. This monster was clearly intelligent, yet he knew also this thing would not try to hurt him directly, something about venom and weakening prey before swallowing them whole, which is why they had no teeth other than fangs and grinders to the sides. the gigginox shocked Jon even further by speaking to him directly, telling him to surrender to its will, briefly explaining her will to swallow him whole. Despite the hard Reptilian rough talk, it might have sounded feminine to him if he had paid attention. despite its trying to get him to cooperate, the adventurer decided to make a run for it. The gigginox's agility however made this moot. All he got for his running was tripped in his side, and a quick slice on his side.
This repeated itself a few times. The human would try to run or distract the thing, only for the stalker to trip or blindsight him and get another bite scrape or shallow claw strike into him. Over time, this got more and more of the gigginox poison into his body. Eventually he was started to run out of energy, and could feel his body reacting less and less to his brains requests. He realized quickly that he had forgotten his biology lesson from many years ago, about how creatures similar to a gigginox had a strange unique venom that shut down the nervous system of its victims to make them more docile and powerless for consumption. However, despite expecting to be quickly gobbled up and digested, the monster seemed to still almost seemed be trying to get him to cooperate despite the battle being pretty much complete.
The gigginox speaking and still weakening Jon with its poisons, proceeding to try calm him down by talking to him gently, in its strange reptilian sounding voice, telling him to surrender to the effects of her poisons. To find that this monster could talk still surprised the adventurer, although he had only heard of these quadrupeds through legends he knew enough that they were never known to talk. The poisons were spreading and the somewhat dragonic creature opened it's jaws to reveal that her insides were a deep yet soft purple, and briefly licked him as a taunt or a taste, maybe both. The poisons soon effected his ability to think, and make him quite tired, especially after struggling to evade her bites and injections from the claws. Jon didn't want to weaken, and fought it, he new full well that gigginox would swallow their prey after putting them into a deep sleep, and were known to then proceed to feel off their life energy forever. They wouldn't even digest their prey, they would keep them as a sort of living energy generator.
The adventurer as he tried to tangle away from the gigginox grasp, slowly realized it was over. The monster wasn't grasping him tightly anymore, if anything it was trying to stop him from hurting himself with a gentler hold on him that almost seemed protective. As his energy finally gave out, the purple liquids dripping onto him and seeping into his skin through the little bites finally spread and he went limp to his dismay. Strangely he noticed that he wasn't in much pain at all, as he assumed the poisons would wreck his body and it would hurt more than it was. The monster, more trying to be gentle, slowly tried to rub the human's side in her grasp to reassure him, if she even could manage to calm someone who just lost all body control like this poor human down.
"Don't worry, you will find that my poisons will not entirely leave you unconscious should I choose. However, you should be aware that once the poison spreads further not only will your nervous system be under my influence, but your brain too. I am an older gigginox, I can control how my poison effects all your nervous system. don't worry too much though, I shall hardly make it uncomfortable for you as my belly pet."
The monster then slowly worked his body into his maw, trying to be careful of the fangs in her maw. the human had enough venom in his body already and she didn't want to risk an overdose. She of course could just inject the antidote into her victim but a near overdose would be frightening like nothing else to her prey, and she wanted nothing like that.
As much as Jon would hated to admit it to himself the maw felt somewhat comfortable besides the beasts humid breath, which even the breath did make him feel warm in the cold night around him. even as his instincts told to him to fight and try to regain movement, he was aware this was fruitless. the way the gigginox was treating him more a disturbing youngling rather than any real threat was a big indicator that he was going to be stuck with no movement. gentle licking from the beasts purple tongue as if to reassure him he was safe reaffirmed this feeling. all this started to generate within him that maybe he should just surrender to this thing. It seemed to be somewhat kind even if it was soon to be using you as an energy store to leech nutrients out of forever.
The gigginox, although couldn't directly hear his exact thoughts, she had neuron cells in the venom she injected, and with the saliva leaking discretely both in and out of the human's body, so she would know the humans brain chemistry and general thought trains and emotions of her victim; although, she couldn't tell the exact thoughts the human could be having. She could tell the human was becoming more willing to accept their fate, which she was glad to be able to calm him down more. She wanted her human to be as willing as possible. sure, it didn't matter if he was willing, she had complete control over his nervous system currently, but the human deserved rest. Even with her isolationist and cave dwelling species she had heard of some of the higher feats this human had done. Sure some of it might be embellished, but stories of dark lords falling and long adventures long past the original oaths certainly had some truth to them.
She saw the path this adventurer was going down, and the second she stalked him in those dark moonlight filled woods outside her crevice cavern home she new that he was picking fights bigger than he could maintain. Feeling his emotions she doubted it was an high ego in the human, but more of a need to prove himself, or perhaps he had become addicted to the adrenaline of battle and the praise of nations. Either way, one day he would get cocky or luck would run out. A human that not only tried to help his fellow man, but according to some legends help other species of reptilians and dragonic types. Certainly he managed to kill some black dragon of old, freeing other such dragons from slavery in the process. A human with such a track record usually gave into the allure of power, but despite the saying about dying the hero or becoming the villian , this human had not gave into the allures of power. He had not become the monsters he destroyed. plus, certainly the body of such a tested human would give her plenty nutrients and power to have as her own.
The more the gigginox felt the humans emotions and thought patterns, and stalked him on the trails previously, she paused a while with her maw closed around her captive, the more she was determined to protect this poor thing. Traces of trauma from the great evils he had witnesses and a guilty conscience, she could tell that the adventurer was experiencing the early stages of mental burnout, and she even wondered if the human secretly was dying for a place of rest away from expectations of the human world.
Finally, after enough pausing, The gigginox started to work the human more towards her throat. She started with tipping her head back slightly, using her tongue to gently slide the human down. With a few smaller gulps at first, the purple surroundings were squishing his head and shoulders into the esophagus. Jon was still being mostly aware of what was going on around him despite being unable to move entirely, and although it felt a bit disgusting going down a gigginox gullet with saliva all around him, he liked the feeling of elastic tight warmth around him. he could tell the monster was trying to be gentle with his form. He thought perhaps it was just the poisons effect on his mind, but he was becoming more willing to surrender to the monster's control. another gulp sent him deeper into the gullet, with the gigginox lifting its neck up to allow a smoother ride down. With his legs being gulped down last, all his body was within the esophagus of the great beast. Realizing now with his nervous system belonging to his captor, and it quickly taking control of his physical form's energy as well, it was clear to him that he lacked any chance of escape, so despite his once great power he tried to enjoy the ride as best he could. another gulp by the creature sent him further down, he could hear the stomach's rumbles in front of him, surely full of more poison to seep through his skin with.
The gigginox had paused before the final gulp to send him to his destination, Presumably to savor the feeling of its prey stuck inside its esophagus. still enjoying the strange slimy warmth around him, he wondered briefly if he liked the feelings because the venom was effecting his brain, or if he had some strange inclinations that the current situation had awoken within him. either way he had decided no longer to fret, as far as he could tell his captor planned to keep him conscious most of the time, and overall seemed... well, fair. seeking cooperation, or, at least showing as much benevolent as you could seem while swallowing prey down. he hoped that should he stuck here a while (or god forbid, the rest of his life), that it wouldn't be all that bad to him. maybe he would even find it comfortable? he wasn't sure.
shaken from his thoughts by apparent rubbing by his captor outside, he noticed that the neck was doing a strange vibrating motion. it quickly occurred to him the gigginox was doing a sort of murring, enjoying its meal being it the last stages before stomaching
Finally done playing with her human, she rubbed the spot where the human would be in her esophagus one more time. Then she leaned herself back, prepared some saliva in her mouth, and preformed the final big gulp, sending her prey down into her purple stomach. She quite enjoyed the process of her stomach filling up, and the excess saliva she had swallowed from her mouth helped fill up the stomach even more. With the mix of stomach juices, saliva and the purple poison that would seep into her human's brain over time, making her more able to calm him down directly as the human's neurons got more accustomed to her gentle nudging of its thoughts.
For jon, the final travel was very strange. The shift of gravity and the movement to a much larger chamber to rest in, causing him to squish into the stomach walls at a strange angle. Unable to move at first, he was stuck in that weird placement for a few minutes.
He had noticed soon that he could just every so slightly move about. Not nearly enough to try to struggle against his captor, but with some effort he was able to re-position himself in the stomach to be a bit more comfortable. He didn't know if the gigginox could control its effects and was allowing him mild freedom to move, or if his body was getting used to the venom, but either way he was happy to be in a better position to rest his exhausted body.
The gigginox had spoken up in its dragon brood voice, asking if the human was doing alright. Jon realized he still couldn't speak, so gently rubbed the side of the stomach walls to let her know he was fine.
"Ah yes, you still can't speak. Don't worry, later i shall alter my poison's effects on your nervous system so you may talk. However, I suppose you likely are confused about a few things, and luckily my poison can interpret some of your brain's thoughts, so i can guess a few things. For one, you may wonder why I can talk as a gigginox, well actually all my species can talk, its just it hurts our throats to talk in human speak for long, as humans rarely understand our own language. Also, our species is very isolationist, which is why you don't always see a lot of us interacting with other species outside needed anyway,"
She rubbed her belly in enjoyment of her new pet. "You may also wonder why I am being so nice to a prey that is usually left completely unconscious and defenseless. well, I have heard of your exploits, and yet, I also know how heroism often ends. I may seem like an over-protective mother, but I didn't want to see you be hurt by something you weren't prepared for. You had done so much good to just go on fighting like you were forever. You should know that you don't have to solve all the worlds problems, society survived long before you, and shall survive after you as well. So just relax your will, give yourself into your new position as nothing more than being my stomach pet. i promise i shall keep you conscious for a fair portion of the time you spend with me, and it shall be quite comfortable living within my innards i promise"
The protector started to move about, heading back to her cavern in the mountain crevice. "Now, try to relax in there for a bit, i shall send you to sleep soon, so do some thinking about your life before bed" she said softly as her voice would allow
Jon felt relatively at ease with his new life. He did still wonder what would happen without him, but as the stomach wobbled a bit as his predator moved about, he did start to wonder if she was right. The world had gone on spinning even with a bit of evil in it long before he was born. In fact, even in all his travels it seemed like there would always been some new greed or vice that replaced the person he had just defeated or defamed out of office. Perhaps he would have gone on forever trying to fix a world that was dealing with the bad side of human nature. yet now as the stomach cradled him, and the movement of this new world sloshed around, he wondered if the world he would be leaving behind couldn't deal with its own problems.
Soon the gigginox had reached its cave, and it settled down to lie down into the deeper, warmer parts of the cave. Heated slightly by the magma deeper underground. She was happy with her catch, and rubbed her stomach one last time before yawning, and tiredly telling the human that it was time to sleep for the night. She also let him know that the poisons seeping into his body would influence his brain to have pleasant dreams at night. Her human softly rubbed the stomach, before curling up and falling asleep quickly, having had such a tiring day before. having been satisfied with her human sleeping softly, she also curled up in her makeshift bed, falling asleep not long after her human.
