Pen rarely goes to his chambers because of his workaholic nature, and the rare times sleep comes it's after he's just worked himself into the ground. waking up at his desk isn't uncommon, and these episodes are not restful in the least when they happen.

Nightmares are frequent, which adds to his insomnia to a fair degree. Angel played a positive part in his time at the hotel, but the negative presence that was Alastor kinda overshadowed them.
