Heh, all cats are like this. They're either like: "Leave me alone!", and the next moment, usually when it's the least convenient mometn for you, they are like: "I'm here, pay attention!", and they usually, like in this case, just sit/lie down on whatever you're doing. Adn they don't take 'no' for an answer.

Once had a cat jump onto my lap while I was watching a movie with a british family I was living with for a week. Chose my lap as a nice place to nap on, prolly because I seem to literally radiate heat. Cats like warm places. Of course, my legs got numb after a while. Whenever I tried to move or remove the cat, she started sinking her claws into my legs, luckily never deep enough to actually cause damage, just my pants, but it was enough to dissuade me. I had to wait until she had finished her catnap (literally!) so I could finally get some feeling back into my legs. Having to wobble around like a newborn foal is NOT pleasent, let me tell you...

LOL X3 yeah... mine do that too. luckily even though Loki has his claws, he is very gentle with them ^^

i know how that feels i hate it the most when my cat who was outside come into my room when im drawing or done drawing and they jump on top of my desk and artwork then i have to start all over thanks to their muddy paws -__- ...but i still love them ^^

Kitten? My cat Cleo was 10 and she was still doing it...no matter what I was doing.

She'd sit on the controller when I played videogames. She'd sit on my lap or the keyboard when I was on the computer. She'd sit on the paper when I was drawing; and she'd sit on my chest when I was trying to sleep. The only safe place was the bathroom. XP

The spot between my keyboard and my monitors is one of my cat's favorite spots, if I'm lucky he'll lie down when I start petting him. Otherwise he'll spend the next half hour batting at the cursor and trying to stretch to nuzzle my chin. Damn the irresistible cuteness!
