So I'm just going to come out and say that by the way I was doing this, this cannot be the character's final design. If anything this was more an experiment to see if I could rather than settling on a finished design just yet. This design is very heavily influenced by the Shadow Fox from Zoids with the primary gun based on the UAC-5 from Battletech.


But the character itself is of (obviously) Anan-??-Fox (AKA the Lightning Scout), a terran-class Fox Arrol from my Unsung Guardians short story and the protagonist to my Guardian Forces prequel story.


Overall I'm actually quite happy with how this drawing came out. There are a few adjustments I can think of for going forward regarding outline color, that i should have lightened the outline on the areas of the heavy light. But man did this drawing take a while by normal standards. Normal drawings are usually on the order for me of 1-2 hours for lines, 2-3 hours for color. This one took 4 hours to line because there was just so much of it to do. And then 2.5 to fully color for a total drawing time of just under 6.5 hours
