Ah, another piece I forgot to post in 2010.....oh well.
Now most people when you say name an all wee folk music band they'll say Move to the Music! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/931144/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2692119/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1386596/ and while it is true that the girls have been trailblazers they are not the all mouse or rat act around now.
These guys ares called Plaguebearers or Pestträgers. I hope got the umlaut in the right place. They are an all rat band out of Europe that has taken advantage by some the technology that Move to the Music! helped pioneer and have added and developed their concepts and equipment too.
While Move to the Music has been accused of being too pop commercial, Plaguebearers will not have to worry about label for the immediate future. Their music is much more anchored in the Industrial Style that Central and Eastern Europe seems to generate so well. However this does mean that they also will most likely get only a fraction of the playtime of the girls.
In my dreamscape I have only heard a few of their tracks and seen a couple of their videos online. Violent would be the best way to describe them. Not only their lyrics but the very way they perform their music is brutal in nature. This violent artistic drive does not even spare them from its consequences.
Where the Move to the Music! girls wear transmitters which sensors record their movements as musical notes the boys in Plaguebearers will don sensors that will record and then emit specific sounds when struck with hands, feet, heads, and specific instruments/ weapons. During their performances they will lay into each other with reckless abandon. Their concerts are in many ways 90 minute sparing matches as much as musical acts.
I don't let know a lot of specifics about them and their personal lives yet but I do know that one is parkour fanatic and the their main technical guy got half his face almost burned off trying to make homemade explosives once.

Interesting offset to the Move girls, though I first mis-read the title as Plaguebearers, then saw that's a q not a g, and was thought that this was an Andur themed sign-messager courier for royalty or such, like those military standard-bearer... But the filename says plague and that's what you intended, so odd typo-related thought string here.
