I've been catching up with  hammerspace , who sculpted the first piece of art of my sona way back when! 3D printing and VR have both changed a ton since then. Back then, he sculpted that design in VR, and then had to figure out how to pose it in a way that was printable, and I still struggled mightily to get it to print on my cobbled-together junk printer. Fast-forward to today, when his friend Darius entered Neos VR with full-body tracking, struck this pose, someone took a snapshot, and I could just...print it without fuss!

I love this figurine *SO MUCH*. Look how well it balances and spins!! I know the VR model isn't a 1-1 correlation with a human body, but it's close enough that, when a human balances on one foot, their digital model is balanced as well. I can really tell there was a living being posing like this. Something about the fursona being able to match the persona so closely is exciting and beautiful to me.

Now that I've gotten enough photos and made posts about it, the statue is off to Darius IRL :3 If anyone else is interested in 3d printing, even if you don't know where to begin, please reach out! It is still one of my favorite things to talk about and to help people with.
