One of the lowest ranked creatures on midnight mountain.
Mummified slaves are basically the grunts of the islands, souls turned into mindlessly obedient grunts that follow any orders they are given without question regardless of who it is from a common resident of the island up to Midnight herself preforming all kinds of tasks from general grunt work of moving boxes and such at markets and docks, to maid work cleaning houses and the pyramids to fodder back up for the more skilled anubian guards to the lowest and most degrading of tasks like being someone's footstool or fuck toy, to even mindless transport for the sentient wildlife of the desert as even the snakes rank above them being that they are directly connected to Aplistia. the snake summoning one, slithering up on its arm or around its neck and riding it to wherever it wants to go.
Being that they are mummified demons they come in a variety of shapes and sizes up to around 7ft, some with horns, some with wings, some not but all now bandaged up and serving as mindless slaves with all sharing only a few things in common.
Eyes
=====
Once mummification is complete all mummified slaves lose there original eyes and every single one now has bright gold eyes with a black swirl as the pupil to emphasize there brainwashed state or apparent brainwashed state depending on how they were created.
However there is one exception to this rule that being if you ever see one with Midnight's eyes that being the purple cornier with the gold pupil that is not just a special mummy that is Midnight herself, as one of the "abilities" if you want to call it that of the mummy is not even there's but Midnight's and that is she can posses any mummified slave whenever she feels like it or needs to, being there souls have been so broken and twisted to Midnight's will they are now Midnight to a extent whoever they were don't matter any more as there is only Midnight's will, there is only Midnight, this body and soul is Midnight, I am vessel for Midnight.
So should she ever need to be somewhere in person or want to speak to someone on the opposite side of the island she can take over a mummy and move them to where they need to be and speak though them.
Jewellery
========
we will learn more about this in a moment during the creation but all bear shackles and anklets of gold with a round ruby in them, these control the body forcing the one in the bandage to move against there will to best word it, as there is not much will there and its a lot easier if they body is being moved exactly as desired and controlled exactly as need be rather than a error occur due to a drone mind.
And the other is there necklace witch while all bear neck jewellery it will vary slightly from mummy to mummy so each can be told apart by rank and role, like a generic ruby would be a lowly grunt where as a sapphire would be higher in rank and thus be like a maid in Midnight's chamber cleaning the throne and washing the stained glass windows and such.
the gold rings around the horns and such are optional and purely decoration and will vary from demon to demon based on there form.
for now lets run though the ritual and 3 types of conversion
Bad Conversion
================
the 1st is for those that Midnight wants to see suffer, sinners and hell born that dared to oppose Midnight's will, like sinners that are trying to reach Mommy's island at the centre and decided to try and stand against Midnight mountain fighting anubian guards and causing commotion.
they are captured and will be tortured by as may as it takes from regular priests, to the greater demons of the areas of the mountain all the way up to Midnight herself everyone has a price and everyone has there breaking point and if worse comes to worse and you are particularly strong willed and have lasted years if not decades without breaking you will be held in a dungeon still tortured until "Darkness" comes to visit, you think your will is strong? we shall see, needless to say none hold out long again "Darkness" or even break the second they see Midnight is not bluffing and "Darkness" is really there as it is well known that "Darkness" is Vertigo's child and they would rather break and give there souls to Midnight that end up in the timeless realm of Madness for eternity's on end as play thing for the Old God of insanity.
Eventually breaking they will give there soul to Midnight to end "This" torture the key word being this as now owned by Midnight, they are now hers to do with as she pleases, there souls now trapped within Aplistia.
now her property she holds them in place with golden strings as Aplistia turns into her naga form, biting them and injecting a liquid gold venom that starts to effect there body and mind and there soul, there bodies now paralyzed they are released from there strings where in there now paralyzed body is moved by other mummified slaves the temple of Midnight, a temple within the main peak of mountain itself and the main area of Gremory.
The paralyzed body is is placed upon a alter in the main area of Gremory's temple and soon after Gremory will appear.
Gremory dressed in her Egyptian ritual outfit as you are about to be turned Egyptian and she wants to look the part as her nun outfit is her more casual cloths, now dressed to represent senpie Midnight, your humiliating conversion is going to begin and its not going to be a privet affair either, for daring to oppose senpie everyone is going to see you fall as your conversion is going to be broadcast live.
Being we are in the modern day even both here and in heaven the internet and live feeds are now a common thing and thanks to Queen Lucy & The Factory's every advancing technology while travel between rings and accessions is prohibited for the most part, broadcasting is not only possible in your own ring but now across all 7 rings or ascensions, we include ascensions as while all 14 sins and blessing are sisters there is a over all queen of each and the 2 queens do have more communication that the others and while not many things can be sent from one realm to another and anything that dose is regulated via "The Void" Lilly did like the idea of everyone being able to communicate across all ascensions so under the supervision of "The Void" with "The Lawmaker" & "The Light" with her at all times & "The Janitor" checking all equipment installed, Lucy was allowed across the 7 accessions to install systems that bi-passed the dimensional barriers between the ascensions and rings to allow full video communication and information sharing across all ascensions and rings with this new digital age now opening many new possibilities.
and like thot senpie Midnight / Soul fire (when she was human), Gremory in this digital age is going to be just like senpie using her female charm and that sexy dark nun theme to manipulate male and female a like into sending her money all of it going to senpie of course, because senpie deserve it, because senpie is the best and I will do ANYTHING for senpie.
from everyday streams, to every Sunday doing the full nun thing streaming a seminar that all residents of the island must watch talking about the glory of Midnight and why we all love and obey Midnight, to here dressed in her Grand High Priestess outfit preforming a live conversion of a pathetic soul that though they could win against senpie.
Gremory walks to the alter looking you up and down while smiling a psychotic smile as she runs her hand along your body her eyes flashing for a second from the glowing gold eyes to the inverted cross eyes before she strips your naked for the world to see.
She picks up a emerald bucket and golden stick censer, things made for her by Mommy Mammon herself that resists the golden waters of her ring so they don't just turn to gold, the bucket filled with water from the sea, Gremory dips the censer in the bucket to fill it before flicking the stick at you, the golden water from the holes on the censer landing on you, turning specks of your body to gold, she circles around you in a counter clockwise direction 5 times chanting.
"Failed demon of gold and glory, Mummified slave forever more"
you feel Gremory's words in your head, consuming your thoughts, flowing though your mind like the cobra's venom.
You don't want this, you where so close to winning, so close to reaching El Dorado, just 1 more island, but its to late the cobra's venom is affecting your mental state and all you can think is the words Gremory is repeating over and over.
"I am a failure, I am a Mummified Slave"
On her 5th rotation she stops, smiling psychotically at you, your lips quiver wanting to tell her to stop but your body is still paralyzed from the venom and you still cant speak, she knows what you want to say, smiling she leans into you and whispers in your ear.
"this is what you get for defying senpie Midnight you fucking loser"
There is nothing to be said, still unable to talk back and as Gremory leans back up and you notice other priests of Midnight around holding bandages and boxes made of cherry wood with golden hinges.
Gremory opens one of the boxes to revel a golden necklace in the shape of a cobra, as Gremory picks it up, it comes alive, she lets it wrap round her hand and turns to you, lowering it down near your neck you see the cobra necklace slither of her hand and around your neck, wrapping round it tight, really tight, it's chocking you to the point where it's almost impossible to breath, now constricting your neck it sinks its fangs into your, hardening back into a necklace and now forever leaking Aplistia's corrupting venom into you.
Your head going even more fuzzy as your head is spinning you feel and see Gremory & the other priests un-rolling the bandages and starting to wrap you up, you helplessly watch as your body is covered from head to toe in clean white bandages, your body feeling more and more out of your control, on the outside everyone can see your eyes turning from there regular colour to pure gold, your pupil starting to turn into a swirl.
As the bandages are fully tighten and wrapped to there end points they are sealed together and fused to your body with a small amount of molten liquid gold, as you gold burns into you the realization hits, that realization that you will be a mindless slave of Midnight for all eternity, you see Gremory smiling at you before she turns and opens 2 more boxes, one with long golden armlets adorned with a round ruby that seem somewhat malleable for the moment, able to stretch and fit to the wrists, same for the other box with 2 round round shackles with a bit of chain on the back able to be stretched to fit.
Now nice and tight around the wrists and ankles they are welded shut with more liquid gold, Gremory opening the last box witch contains a long plate golden necklace with a single 4 sided gemstone at the centre.
Each gemstone reflecting a slaves role and rank, witch we will get to the other side at the good conversion, as for you, well you defied Midnight's will so you are marked with a ruby, the lowest role and rank, becoming nothing more than a general slave.
As Gremory places it round your neck one last time it is welded shut making it, the shackles and bandages impossible to remove.
Gremory touching the gemstone pressing it down slightly witch seems to trigger the golden snake necklace under the bandages it constricting slightly tighter and biting down even more, giving out a burst of venom and you become blank.
You want to think but you cant as if you need permission.
Gremory taking a step back saying "Arise Slave".
You have no choice nor control your can feel the arm and leg shackles pulling your body, there is no resisting what the shackles want, your move how they want, you have no mental power to stop it, your mind still blank as you need permission to think, you stand before the grand high priestess, mindless, obedient, arms stretched out like a real mummy, she smiles and speaks.
"I Am a slave of Midnight, Mistress Gremory"
In your head you want to resist or refuse but your mouth is already moving and speaking the words mistress Gremory requested,
and it continues that way as she forces you to say more things.
"I Am A Loser"
"I Was Always A Loser"
"I Am A Good Slave"
"I will obey any and all commands form anyone on Midnight Mountain without question"
You know somewhat who you are and know what is happening but you are powerless to stop it, you internally scream in your mind as your new Mistress Gremory commands you to do belittling and humiliating things and your body just douse them while your mouth constantly repeats "Yes Mistress Gremory".
She gets you on your hands and knees, the golden heel of her shoe on the back of your mummified head, pressing your head down to the floor and commanding you to lick the dirt off the floor, witch as a slave you obey without question, not that you can as the shackles move your body as commanded your mouth once again saying "Yes Mistress Gremory" without permission before licking the floor.
Preparing to end she gets you to stand, turning you to face camera that everyone across the 7 rings has been watching your transformation on, Gremory standing behind you, holding your shoulders and whispering into your ear.
"Put on your biggest smile and start waving goodbye all the wile saying with the biggest happy smile you can....."
hearing the command and words the conscious part of you is crying to stop but you are just a slave of Midnight, a vessel of Midnight, there is just Midnight and you helpless watch as your right arm rises up and starts to wave, your mouth forcing itself into a smile and starting to speak words you don't want.
"I am a loser and I love being a mummified slave of Midnight"
internally crying as you see the giant screen with a chat on it and you can see thousands of hellish creatures mocking you and laughing at how pathetic you are live, Gremory embracing you from behind giving you her final command.
"Now keep that happy mindless grin and walk away, walk out this temple and down to the village and the desert where you belong, never think, never question, just obey any command from any creautre of this island like a good loser"
"Yes mistress Gremory"
and now as mentioned above they are the lowest rank of slaves that move around the lower levels of the mountain obeying any and all command from quite literally everything on the island from greater demon to villager to even the sentient wildlife like the snakes, you are now there bitch and will do anything they say without question for all eternity.
Mindless Conversion
=====================
The mindless conversion is the middle ground this is occurs via a greedy demon falling for a trap, if the island is invaded and Aplistia's snakes alert her, Aplistia herself will move to that area turning into her tiara form placing herself on there path in her tiara form (shrunk down to fit a regular demons of course rather than Midnight) as after all who can resist pick up such a beautiful crown, made of solid gold, adorned with flawless perfectly cut ruby and amethyst diamonds simmering in the moonlight.
Of course greedy sinners are going to touch her and pick her up and with physical contact made she starts to influence the demon, there is just something really nice about this crown, you want to wear it, is only natural that a leader like you needs a crown, of course its lies just Mammon's influence of greed forcing you to give into your sin and want to horde and wear all the shiny things you come across so naturally this crown is no different and you put Aplistia on and that it she has you, now on your head your eyes turn to Midnight's eyes and she has direct control of your mind.
At 1st you wont notice anything sure your eyes changed but you feel better, stronger, more confident, you have made it this far and know you have the power to reach the arch demon herself and take her down and so you press onwards moving every closer to the peaks and Midnight, of course in reality this is Aplistia's doing, she wants you to move there and while there might be some resistance from a Anubian guard or Geremory they all know its a act, losing on perpous but in a way that seems genuine.
your so amazing this crown has given you such a new found power boost your strength to stand against members of a arch demons army, even strong enough to fight greater demons like Gremory that control the army, you truly can go all the way just as long as this crown remains on your head even if it takes a few days it must remain on your head, its power its yours and yours alone and none one else is allowed the crown you will reach the centre and earn the favour of Greed herself.
Of course it was all a illusion you walk into Midnight's throne and stand before her, you confidently walk up to her and are ready to tell her that her rule is over, you open your mouth and speak
"Arch Demon of greed, i am nothing but your loyal servent and i willingly give my soul to you"
WHAT NO, why did you say that, its to late you already offered and you cant stop it, all of a sudden the crown moves, the snake on the crown extending down in front of you, laughing and saying how you were never in control, you have been nothing but a oblivious puppet ever since you put her on and as she open her mouth your mouth also opens and you feel and see your soul sucked out of you into the crown.
Falling to the ground you see your crown transforming into a giant golden cobra that stand near the throne Midnight Petting her head for being a good girl and getting them another soul.
of course you partly dont want to except it, but something has changed your eye colour has gone from its normal colour to gold, and you feel like this is right, like this the only thing you want, you want to be with Midnight and server on the condition that you can wear the tiara again as it feels so good it makes you feel complete, you need it, you depend on it and gieven you will have been wearing her for a few days now your easly at stage 3 of your conversion now mindlessly obedient to the arch demon, Midnight will agree and across the full week time limit of your conversion the brainwashing will be completed, constantly wearing Aplistia as your mind turns to mush more and more, Gremmory preforming the mummification ritual on you on the 6th day, usually not live streamed or as humiliating given there is not much of the mind left, you have already forgotten so much, what you name was, who you were, why you agreed to this, you don't need them silly thoughts any more.
Now mummified your get one last day wearing Aplistia not that you even really know any more, your blank, you at this point you are basically a drone, part of a hive mind, you remember nothing, you think nothing, all you know is your are a mummified slave and Midnight.
If there is something that you can't answer its usually Midnight, your name is Midnight, you are Midnight, you obey Midnight, there is and only ever was Midnight.
The mindless ones getting a emerald on there necklace plate and these unlike the ruby that are forced to the lower areas for degrading use, these are everywhere from the dock to midnight's chamber all of them Mindlessly severing, following any and all orders they are given, but unlike the rubies where you can hear that forced obedience in there voice the emeralds just will comply in a more monotone voice and just do the task as that's what is commanded and a drone of the hive dose not think just follows orders.
Good Conversion
====================
The one that is the nicest way as there are some who willing give there souls to Midnight, ones that want to serve the arch demon forever as her loyal slaves, while some will become anubian guards (See Anubian Guards) there are others that are so loyal that they want to be Midnight's mummified puppets.
and their blind obedience and loyalty is rewarded, they get the "royal treatment" when it comes to conversion, like most that are this willing to follow Midnight and want to be her servant in some way, these soon to be slaves get the full works.
Getting a night with Queen Aplistia, as they happy cuddle up in her coils, enjoying every moment of them wrapping ever tighter around there body constricting there breathing, looking up into the Queen Cobra's eyes as she dose the typical snake hypno eyes, feeling her taking hold over there mind and putting them in a sate of bliss, feeling the up most joy as her long forked tongue licks them, The queen tasting her next meal, before lifting them up and swallowing them, the slave happy to feel the warm golden liquid inside her as the slide down her into that chubby belly (not to be eaten of course to be marked) as they reach her belly Aplistia gets her meal as while they sit in the pool of liquid gold there soul is pulled out of them and absorbed into Aplistia, and with a full belly both Cobra and meal sleep.
as they sleep your body starts being marked thicker golden slime, coiling around your neck and round your body heating up to a molten state forever burning the corba mark onto your body this is why & How Gremory and most of the greater demons and loyal servers of the island have this on there body and during the day of this marking you awake as Aplistia.
(this is her awaking your soul your body is in the belly still)
as your reward for being such a blindly loyal servent while the marking is happening you get to experiance a day as your Queen,
you slither round as her feel what is like to be a Cobra like her see though her eyes and feel what its like to turn into a tiara and sit on Midnight's head.
Some at this point enjoy being a snake so much that they will defect from the original plan if allowed and rather than becoming mummified or a anubian guard and such will instead request if allowed to become a snake like there Queen Cobra, to serve as part of Aplistia, ready to become Aplistia's eyes and bite any who try to oppose there Queen.
If so the golden snake marking would engulf the body taking it over and turning it into a serpent where it would be incased in a golden egg that would come out of Aplistia, but in this case you are still all in on the mummy idea.
after a day as your Queen her belly become more liquid gold and your body falls from her now branded with the golden cobra mark that now forever binds to Midnight Montain and the will of Midnight herself.
Standing up you are hannded to grand high prestess Gremory for your ritual that is much the same only varing very slightly in few minor ways.
1) like the mindless drones its not streamed unless you want it to be, same with the extra humilliation your being rewarded so your only going to be treated the same way as the lower slaves if you want it just for the full experaince.
2) unlike the lower slaves and mindless ones No snake collar is put around your neck under the bandages, Aplistia's mark already acts like a stronger version of the collar so there is no need
3) once the wrapping is complete a special golden bandage that starts at your neck is wraped around you to mimic Aplistia's mark to let everyone know your that kind of slave that like Gremory is so fully devoted to Midnight and shows that they willingly wanted this.
4) by far the biggest one while the eyes are still pure gold with swirls the good conversion keeps a small part of there free will, most stuff is out of your control, you still obey without question and the shackles still move your body regardless of if you want it to or not, and many things like who you were and what your name is are removed, you are just still mummified slave IS-30 unless one of the greater demons names you otherwise but like Gremory (that is at stage 4 in brainwashing terms) you have just enough free will to be able to speak for yourself and interact with your masters, so let say for example if you are assigned as one of midnight's personal servants and she asks you for example in a morning what tea's are available (something you will know before hand as its your job).
you will be able to list of the different types and say a new one came it be able to say.
"we also got a shipment of gold leaf early this morning, a new type from X island if my perfect mistress wishes to try that one"
able to ask and advise or give suggestions of your own free will, to whoever you are serving, because like Gremory you are that blindly loyal and want only what is best for your arch demon and her island, your a slave but that's all you want to be for the glory of Midnight Mountain, you will live up to your title as a slave and serve in any way you can because you just love Midnight so much and want nothing more than to make her happy no matter what.

Status : the unwilling that opposed Midnight

the lowest rank and lowest in terms of all the island with even wild life like the snakes of the desert area out ranking them, they are given all the lowest most deeming task and are treated like total garbage, there only perpous is to do what they are told and forever be reminded at what losers they are, only ever able to agree and obey as the snake collar constantly leaks venom into them that corrupts the mind and soul.
Gem : Emerald
Status : the ones that were to greedy and fell for Aplistia's trap, thus putting her on and becoming mindless vessels
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak)
the 2nd lowest rank (yes even the mindless empty drones out ranks the sinners that opposed midnight)
you will find emerald mummies across the entire mountain from the lower class docks to pristine chambers of the greater demons & Midnight's throne.
being nothing more than mindless drones they preform all kind of basic tasks that dont require and extra though, moving boxes, cleaning floors, being foot stools any mindless task that empty vessle can preform.
Gem : Sapphire
Status : all sapphire and up are the willing ones and thus status wont need to be brung up again for a while
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak) but most common in the crystal hill and greater demon areas
now into the willing slaves Sapphire is the common willing slave, they server much like the ruby and emerald in the fact that they are given many of the basic tasks like moving, cleaning, footstool, etc only with the slightly added bonus that they can recommend and add to a conversation and for being so loyal get to be dispatched to the more higher ranking area's like the crystal hills and greater demon areas like Gremory's temple to server them, not of that common peasant work as reward for your loyalty.
Gem : Topaz
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak) common in all area's with Anubian Guard
Topaz are designated as fodder for the Anubian guards to use, they will always be seen with there designated guard if on patrol around the island or if not with or given a designated guard they will be in a guard area, clean the area for them, polishing and sharpening there weapons and so on.
Guards will sometimes grow a attachment to a slave they have been assigned treating it more like a pet or student while there movement and mental functions are no where on the level of a guard sometimes a guard will train its slaves with a weapon of some kind to be slightly more dangerous than your standard variety.
Gem : Amethyst
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak) Only found in greater demon areas and with Pack Leader Anubian Guard
slightly higher than Topaz these are seen with higher guards like squad or high rank pack leaders, and around greater demon area's.
This variant is more dangerous, most of the time a Amethyst is a soul that was loyal to midnight but did not quite have what it took to become a guard, be it lack of will power or confidence as guards while obedient still have that will and confidence to lead, able to co-ordinate with others to resolve a situation, but not everyone is cut out to lead and some are better at following orders these are 90% amethysts those that did not quite become a anubian guard but still have that will to fight and defend the glorious daughter of greed.
Put on cycles with Anubin guards they are put on roughly the same kind of trainer routines and again while mummified witch douse hinder them slightly these ones will be proficient with some kind of weapon and the guard commanding them will know how to command them in a way that they can used as a real threat, however most normal incidents can be taken care of by normal guards and the topaz rank and so these are usually only seen either with a pack leader or in "Castles" of the greater demons those that rule of each area in Queen Midnight's name like the Nile Queen of the Oasis ring or the high prise of the main temple of worship in the village at the foot of the mountain who takes direct orders for Grand High Priestess Gremory.
They hold power of there area and its only natural that even there slaves are better than average.
Gem : Citrine
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak) but most common in Moonlit Cliffside and greater demon areas
These are quite rare you will see a few patrolling the moonlit cliffside with a guard or 2 given that the cliffside leads to the peaks where the strongest and most feared reside.
like the 2 below them they are skilled with a weapon as they are slaves to the great demons and directly take orders from them,
if you ever see mummified slaves standing near a greater demons throne or within there main domain it will always bear the orange citrine gemstone in its necklace, if you ever see a slave say on Gremory's streams be it getting her a drink or holding some ritual incense lantern on her Sunday sermons on how great Senpie Midnight is, it will always bear a citrine gemstone.
Gem : Diamond
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak) ONLY in Midnight's Peak
Basically what Gremory nearly became, the most mindlessly loyal to Midnight herself, they will do anything for Midnight to a obsessive degree, lick her feet, be her toy anything, say the word and they will do it, Diamonds however don't just start diamond you start at sapphire and have to work for it, rising from sapphire you will obey because you love Midnight, but to be with Midnight, to be ordered around by her personally you want nothing more and so you will do everything you can to make make her and anyone connected with her happy with you pushing yourself limits to rise though the ranks taking there free time to make a relationship with and train with a anubian guard to go to a topaz, training to the level to please a pack leader to become a amethyst, showing blind loyalty to the greater demons amethyst get to interact with to become there puppet and get citrine and finally serving a greater like Gemory so well that she or another greater demon might if your lucky tell midnight to turn you into a diamond.
Gem : Rainbow
Clearance : None - Only Found down the rabbit hold in Minus's World
the toon version of the mummified slaves, its unclear if they are real souls taken by Minus or Midnight given they can share capture souls, or if they are some manifestation of this crazy world at the bottom of the rabbit hole, its no secret that this area maybe even alternate dimension as it can change and bend to Minus's will.
Strang creatures and characters can be manifested and disappear as she so desires, so discerning what is a "real" entity especially after it has been "Toonifed" is quite hard.
what is know is the rainbow gemstone ones act much like there emerald counterparts ones, mindless and stiffer than sapphire and above that have some level of a though process, naturally like most things here everything is exaggerated with one of there eyes bigger, the swirl more pronounced, there smile also bigger and out of proportion to the head, there body very flexible and some what stretchy like the good old rubber hose cartoons.
some do seem to be able to do outlandish things like stretch there arms a bit to grab victims or manifest a throwing dagger from behind there back showing they have some access to the "Behind the back" dimension or "Toon Space" witch may show signs of a topaz rank but they are the least of your worries here in this wacky land where you stand out as a normal entity you might even say your a bit "OUT OF TOON" XD

if these are Mummies, everything beyond the gate to the shattered peak is all warped and twisted corrupted by the darkness and insanity this place radiates, if these are souls they are not Midnights, but that of the Old God, twisted souls from some long dead world, if they are and not just some construct of the gem core itself, these mummified slaves are like the emerald, mindless, emotionless but feel different, they feel wrong and extremely dangerous.
there eyes glow bright pink with dark light, there slimes are twisted and if destroyed or damaged the crystal not on there neck but in there chest reforms them, even if there are totally blown apart the black diamond will remain and reform the body reforming with the same mindless glowing eyes and unflinching twisted smile arms still outstretched and moving towards you, its unclear what would happen if they touch you but then again the shattered peak is a area that no demon should be on or even think to visit.

Behaviour
===========
Now while there are varying ranks and creation methods all follow the same patterns of behaviour,
(aside from the 2 version from the rabbit hole and the shattered peaked as mentioned above they seem to never sleep or follow this behaviour)
That being upon there creation depending on rank they are send out across the mountain to there designated areas,
each mummy constantly walking with its arms stretched out as per the real world versions you see in films and shows,
they will continue to walk around mindless until summon to do a task at witch point there body and mind is controlled to obey and they follow there task until complete, some willing and some not so.
the higher ranking of sapphire and above able to also give input and such things while at the same time still having no control over there body but to them that's what they want and it feels nice.
Each mummified slave follows the pattern of movement and obedience on a 12-16 hour cycle the ruby and emerald on 16 hour cycles and the sapphire and above on 12 hour cycles, when this cycle is reaching its time limit (roughly 15 minuets before) the necklace itself commands them to seek out the nearest sarcophagus for them to rest in, as these are not just something for them to be entombed in and rest, they are more like magical reset stations, upon a mummified slave entering one there arms will cross and it will close and seal itself, now sealed the sarcophagus will do several things
*) any damage a mummified slave as sustained will be repaired as the soul is within Aplistia so this is little more than a puppet at this point so if say a arm is removed, liquid gold will remake the arm and rebandage it.
*) all bandages will be cleaned of sands and other dirt and fluids that might have accrued across the course of the day to keep all slaves in pristine condition
*) given this is where they sleep naturally it will release things like melatonin to help sleep and ensure they are fully refreshed during this 8 hour rest period before the next cycle
*) and lastly should one ever "Die" now that Midnight owns there soul the body's respawn point is set to her island (this is the same for all arch demons) so should a "death" occur a golden vessel will be formed and wrapped within the sarcophagus and the soul will awaken rested and refreshed within the next 24 hours of its own respawn and the cycle it was designated to, the soul spawning back as a mummified slave and awaking from a sarcophagus.
these can be found all over the mountain from the common areas you would find them like the pyramids to the catacombs, but also less common areas like houses as some of the slightly higher up in the crystal hills own a slave or 2 and its convenient to have a few in the house so there slaves can rest there but also more common house in the oasis village do have them in order to use slaves from the moment they wake.
and that is, now in there cycle for all eternity.
For the lesser 16 hours of obedience and servitude before being forced to rest in a tomb for 8 hours to repeat for ever and ever.
the slightly higher like the sapphire and up that chose this willing operate on 12 hours of slavery but then have 4 hours of free time before they are to controlled into there tombs.
as Topaz for example directly working with anubian guards would naturally be on a anubain guards cycle so in the 4 hours of free time they may choose to spend it playing a video game or watching a movie with the guard they are assigned to as when there time is up both them and the anubian guard will rest and wake at the exact same time.
Others if hell born may choose to visit family on the island if they are near, proud to server Midnight and just talk as normal.
Or even go to a lover being in a relationship as while most of there individuality is gone now nameless serialised dime a dozen grunts even grunts can form relationships and its not that hard for 2 mummified slaves to be put on the same cycle and even move to rest in the same sarcophagus if you are loyal enough of course, your arch demon can make anything happen and you have been a good little slave and while like Mommy Mammon she will never give up a single piece of gold she enjoys mindlessly loyal puppets and is more than happy to give you what you want if your willing to give everything you have and everything you are to your all powerful amazing arch demon of greed.
Mummified slaves are basically the grunts of the islands, souls turned into mindlessly obedient grunts that follow any orders they are given without question regardless of who it is from a common resident of the island up to Midnight herself preforming all kinds of tasks from general grunt work of moving boxes and such at markets and docks, to maid work cleaning houses and the pyramids to fodder back up for the more skilled anubian guards to the lowest and most degrading of tasks like being someone's footstool or fuck toy, to even mindless transport for the sentient wildlife of the desert as even the snakes rank above them being that they are directly connected to Aplistia. the snake summoning one, slithering up on its arm or around its neck and riding it to wherever it wants to go.
Being that they are mummified demons they come in a variety of shapes and sizes up to around 7ft, some with horns, some with wings, some not but all now bandaged up and serving as mindless slaves with all sharing only a few things in common.
Eyes
=====
Once mummification is complete all mummified slaves lose there original eyes and every single one now has bright gold eyes with a black swirl as the pupil to emphasize there brainwashed state or apparent brainwashed state depending on how they were created.
However there is one exception to this rule that being if you ever see one with Midnight's eyes that being the purple cornier with the gold pupil that is not just a special mummy that is Midnight herself, as one of the "abilities" if you want to call it that of the mummy is not even there's but Midnight's and that is she can posses any mummified slave whenever she feels like it or needs to, being there souls have been so broken and twisted to Midnight's will they are now Midnight to a extent whoever they were don't matter any more as there is only Midnight's will, there is only Midnight, this body and soul is Midnight, I am vessel for Midnight.
So should she ever need to be somewhere in person or want to speak to someone on the opposite side of the island she can take over a mummy and move them to where they need to be and speak though them.
Jewellery
========
we will learn more about this in a moment during the creation but all bear shackles and anklets of gold with a round ruby in them, these control the body forcing the one in the bandage to move against there will to best word it, as there is not much will there and its a lot easier if they body is being moved exactly as desired and controlled exactly as need be rather than a error occur due to a drone mind.
And the other is there necklace witch while all bear neck jewellery it will vary slightly from mummy to mummy so each can be told apart by rank and role, like a generic ruby would be a lowly grunt where as a sapphire would be higher in rank and thus be like a maid in Midnight's chamber cleaning the throne and washing the stained glass windows and such.
the gold rings around the horns and such are optional and purely decoration and will vary from demon to demon based on there form.
for now lets run though the ritual and 3 types of conversion
Bad Conversion

the 1st is for those that Midnight wants to see suffer, sinners and hell born that dared to oppose Midnight's will, like sinners that are trying to reach Mommy's island at the centre and decided to try and stand against Midnight mountain fighting anubian guards and causing commotion.
they are captured and will be tortured by as may as it takes from regular priests, to the greater demons of the areas of the mountain all the way up to Midnight herself everyone has a price and everyone has there breaking point and if worse comes to worse and you are particularly strong willed and have lasted years if not decades without breaking you will be held in a dungeon still tortured until "Darkness" comes to visit, you think your will is strong? we shall see, needless to say none hold out long again "Darkness" or even break the second they see Midnight is not bluffing and "Darkness" is really there as it is well known that "Darkness" is Vertigo's child and they would rather break and give there souls to Midnight that end up in the timeless realm of Madness for eternity's on end as play thing for the Old God of insanity.
Eventually breaking they will give there soul to Midnight to end "This" torture the key word being this as now owned by Midnight, they are now hers to do with as she pleases, there souls now trapped within Aplistia.
now her property she holds them in place with golden strings as Aplistia turns into her naga form, biting them and injecting a liquid gold venom that starts to effect there body and mind and there soul, there bodies now paralyzed they are released from there strings where in there now paralyzed body is moved by other mummified slaves the temple of Midnight, a temple within the main peak of mountain itself and the main area of Gremory.
The paralyzed body is is placed upon a alter in the main area of Gremory's temple and soon after Gremory will appear.
Gremory dressed in her Egyptian ritual outfit as you are about to be turned Egyptian and she wants to look the part as her nun outfit is her more casual cloths, now dressed to represent senpie Midnight, your humiliating conversion is going to begin and its not going to be a privet affair either, for daring to oppose senpie everyone is going to see you fall as your conversion is going to be broadcast live.
Being we are in the modern day even both here and in heaven the internet and live feeds are now a common thing and thanks to Queen Lucy & The Factory's every advancing technology while travel between rings and accessions is prohibited for the most part, broadcasting is not only possible in your own ring but now across all 7 rings or ascensions, we include ascensions as while all 14 sins and blessing are sisters there is a over all queen of each and the 2 queens do have more communication that the others and while not many things can be sent from one realm to another and anything that dose is regulated via "The Void" Lilly did like the idea of everyone being able to communicate across all ascensions so under the supervision of "The Void" with "The Lawmaker" & "The Light" with her at all times & "The Janitor" checking all equipment installed, Lucy was allowed across the 7 accessions to install systems that bi-passed the dimensional barriers between the ascensions and rings to allow full video communication and information sharing across all ascensions and rings with this new digital age now opening many new possibilities.

She picks up a emerald bucket and golden stick censer, things made for her by Mommy Mammon herself that resists the golden waters of her ring so they don't just turn to gold, the bucket filled with water from the sea, Gremory dips the censer in the bucket to fill it before flicking the stick at you, the golden water from the holes on the censer landing on you, turning specks of your body to gold, she circles around you in a counter clockwise direction 5 times chanting.
"Failed demon of gold and glory, Mummified slave forever more"
you feel Gremory's words in your head, consuming your thoughts, flowing though your mind like the cobra's venom.
You don't want this, you where so close to winning, so close to reaching El Dorado, just 1 more island, but its to late the cobra's venom is affecting your mental state and all you can think is the words Gremory is repeating over and over.
"I am a failure, I am a Mummified Slave"
On her 5th rotation she stops, smiling psychotically at you, your lips quiver wanting to tell her to stop but your body is still paralyzed from the venom and you still cant speak, she knows what you want to say, smiling she leans into you and whispers in your ear.
"this is what you get for defying senpie Midnight you fucking loser"
There is nothing to be said, still unable to talk back and as Gremory leans back up and you notice other priests of Midnight around holding bandages and boxes made of cherry wood with golden hinges.
Gremory opens one of the boxes to revel a golden necklace in the shape of a cobra, as Gremory picks it up, it comes alive, she lets it wrap round her hand and turns to you, lowering it down near your neck you see the cobra necklace slither of her hand and around your neck, wrapping round it tight, really tight, it's chocking you to the point where it's almost impossible to breath, now constricting your neck it sinks its fangs into your, hardening back into a necklace and now forever leaking Aplistia's corrupting venom into you.
Your head going even more fuzzy as your head is spinning you feel and see Gremory & the other priests un-rolling the bandages and starting to wrap you up, you helplessly watch as your body is covered from head to toe in clean white bandages, your body feeling more and more out of your control, on the outside everyone can see your eyes turning from there regular colour to pure gold, your pupil starting to turn into a swirl.
As the bandages are fully tighten and wrapped to there end points they are sealed together and fused to your body with a small amount of molten liquid gold, as you gold burns into you the realization hits, that realization that you will be a mindless slave of Midnight for all eternity, you see Gremory smiling at you before she turns and opens 2 more boxes, one with long golden armlets adorned with a round ruby that seem somewhat malleable for the moment, able to stretch and fit to the wrists, same for the other box with 2 round round shackles with a bit of chain on the back able to be stretched to fit.
Now nice and tight around the wrists and ankles they are welded shut with more liquid gold, Gremory opening the last box witch contains a long plate golden necklace with a single 4 sided gemstone at the centre.
Each gemstone reflecting a slaves role and rank, witch we will get to the other side at the good conversion, as for you, well you defied Midnight's will so you are marked with a ruby, the lowest role and rank, becoming nothing more than a general slave.
As Gremory places it round your neck one last time it is welded shut making it, the shackles and bandages impossible to remove.
Gremory touching the gemstone pressing it down slightly witch seems to trigger the golden snake necklace under the bandages it constricting slightly tighter and biting down even more, giving out a burst of venom and you become blank.
You want to think but you cant as if you need permission.
Gremory taking a step back saying "Arise Slave".
You have no choice nor control your can feel the arm and leg shackles pulling your body, there is no resisting what the shackles want, your move how they want, you have no mental power to stop it, your mind still blank as you need permission to think, you stand before the grand high priestess, mindless, obedient, arms stretched out like a real mummy, she smiles and speaks.
"I Am a slave of Midnight, Mistress Gremory"
In your head you want to resist or refuse but your mouth is already moving and speaking the words mistress Gremory requested,
and it continues that way as she forces you to say more things.
"I Am A Loser"
"I Was Always A Loser"
"I Am A Good Slave"
"I will obey any and all commands form anyone on Midnight Mountain without question"
You know somewhat who you are and know what is happening but you are powerless to stop it, you internally scream in your mind as your new Mistress Gremory commands you to do belittling and humiliating things and your body just douse them while your mouth constantly repeats "Yes Mistress Gremory".
She gets you on your hands and knees, the golden heel of her shoe on the back of your mummified head, pressing your head down to the floor and commanding you to lick the dirt off the floor, witch as a slave you obey without question, not that you can as the shackles move your body as commanded your mouth once again saying "Yes Mistress Gremory" without permission before licking the floor.
Preparing to end she gets you to stand, turning you to face camera that everyone across the 7 rings has been watching your transformation on, Gremory standing behind you, holding your shoulders and whispering into your ear.
"Put on your biggest smile and start waving goodbye all the wile saying with the biggest happy smile you can....."
hearing the command and words the conscious part of you is crying to stop but you are just a slave of Midnight, a vessel of Midnight, there is just Midnight and you helpless watch as your right arm rises up and starts to wave, your mouth forcing itself into a smile and starting to speak words you don't want.
"I am a loser and I love being a mummified slave of Midnight"
internally crying as you see the giant screen with a chat on it and you can see thousands of hellish creatures mocking you and laughing at how pathetic you are live, Gremory embracing you from behind giving you her final command.
"Now keep that happy mindless grin and walk away, walk out this temple and down to the village and the desert where you belong, never think, never question, just obey any command from any creautre of this island like a good loser"
"Yes mistress Gremory"
and now as mentioned above they are the lowest rank of slaves that move around the lower levels of the mountain obeying any and all command from quite literally everything on the island from greater demon to villager to even the sentient wildlife like the snakes, you are now there bitch and will do anything they say without question for all eternity.
Mindless Conversion

The mindless conversion is the middle ground this is occurs via a greedy demon falling for a trap, if the island is invaded and Aplistia's snakes alert her, Aplistia herself will move to that area turning into her tiara form placing herself on there path in her tiara form (shrunk down to fit a regular demons of course rather than Midnight) as after all who can resist pick up such a beautiful crown, made of solid gold, adorned with flawless perfectly cut ruby and amethyst diamonds simmering in the moonlight.
Of course greedy sinners are going to touch her and pick her up and with physical contact made she starts to influence the demon, there is just something really nice about this crown, you want to wear it, is only natural that a leader like you needs a crown, of course its lies just Mammon's influence of greed forcing you to give into your sin and want to horde and wear all the shiny things you come across so naturally this crown is no different and you put Aplistia on and that it she has you, now on your head your eyes turn to Midnight's eyes and she has direct control of your mind.
At 1st you wont notice anything sure your eyes changed but you feel better, stronger, more confident, you have made it this far and know you have the power to reach the arch demon herself and take her down and so you press onwards moving every closer to the peaks and Midnight, of course in reality this is Aplistia's doing, she wants you to move there and while there might be some resistance from a Anubian guard or Geremory they all know its a act, losing on perpous but in a way that seems genuine.
your so amazing this crown has given you such a new found power boost your strength to stand against members of a arch demons army, even strong enough to fight greater demons like Gremory that control the army, you truly can go all the way just as long as this crown remains on your head even if it takes a few days it must remain on your head, its power its yours and yours alone and none one else is allowed the crown you will reach the centre and earn the favour of Greed herself.
Of course it was all a illusion you walk into Midnight's throne and stand before her, you confidently walk up to her and are ready to tell her that her rule is over, you open your mouth and speak
"Arch Demon of greed, i am nothing but your loyal servent and i willingly give my soul to you"
WHAT NO, why did you say that, its to late you already offered and you cant stop it, all of a sudden the crown moves, the snake on the crown extending down in front of you, laughing and saying how you were never in control, you have been nothing but a oblivious puppet ever since you put her on and as she open her mouth your mouth also opens and you feel and see your soul sucked out of you into the crown.
Falling to the ground you see your crown transforming into a giant golden cobra that stand near the throne Midnight Petting her head for being a good girl and getting them another soul.
of course you partly dont want to except it, but something has changed your eye colour has gone from its normal colour to gold, and you feel like this is right, like this the only thing you want, you want to be with Midnight and server on the condition that you can wear the tiara again as it feels so good it makes you feel complete, you need it, you depend on it and gieven you will have been wearing her for a few days now your easly at stage 3 of your conversion now mindlessly obedient to the arch demon, Midnight will agree and across the full week time limit of your conversion the brainwashing will be completed, constantly wearing Aplistia as your mind turns to mush more and more, Gremmory preforming the mummification ritual on you on the 6th day, usually not live streamed or as humiliating given there is not much of the mind left, you have already forgotten so much, what you name was, who you were, why you agreed to this, you don't need them silly thoughts any more.
Now mummified your get one last day wearing Aplistia not that you even really know any more, your blank, you at this point you are basically a drone, part of a hive mind, you remember nothing, you think nothing, all you know is your are a mummified slave and Midnight.
If there is something that you can't answer its usually Midnight, your name is Midnight, you are Midnight, you obey Midnight, there is and only ever was Midnight.
The mindless ones getting a emerald on there necklace plate and these unlike the ruby that are forced to the lower areas for degrading use, these are everywhere from the dock to midnight's chamber all of them Mindlessly severing, following any and all orders they are given, but unlike the rubies where you can hear that forced obedience in there voice the emeralds just will comply in a more monotone voice and just do the task as that's what is commanded and a drone of the hive dose not think just follows orders.
Good Conversion
====================
The one that is the nicest way as there are some who willing give there souls to Midnight, ones that want to serve the arch demon forever as her loyal slaves, while some will become anubian guards (See Anubian Guards) there are others that are so loyal that they want to be Midnight's mummified puppets.
and their blind obedience and loyalty is rewarded, they get the "royal treatment" when it comes to conversion, like most that are this willing to follow Midnight and want to be her servant in some way, these soon to be slaves get the full works.
Getting a night with Queen Aplistia, as they happy cuddle up in her coils, enjoying every moment of them wrapping ever tighter around there body constricting there breathing, looking up into the Queen Cobra's eyes as she dose the typical snake hypno eyes, feeling her taking hold over there mind and putting them in a sate of bliss, feeling the up most joy as her long forked tongue licks them, The queen tasting her next meal, before lifting them up and swallowing them, the slave happy to feel the warm golden liquid inside her as the slide down her into that chubby belly (not to be eaten of course to be marked) as they reach her belly Aplistia gets her meal as while they sit in the pool of liquid gold there soul is pulled out of them and absorbed into Aplistia, and with a full belly both Cobra and meal sleep.
as they sleep your body starts being marked thicker golden slime, coiling around your neck and round your body heating up to a molten state forever burning the corba mark onto your body this is why & How Gremory and most of the greater demons and loyal servers of the island have this on there body and during the day of this marking you awake as Aplistia.

as your reward for being such a blindly loyal servent while the marking is happening you get to experiance a day as your Queen,
you slither round as her feel what is like to be a Cobra like her see though her eyes and feel what its like to turn into a tiara and sit on Midnight's head.
Some at this point enjoy being a snake so much that they will defect from the original plan if allowed and rather than becoming mummified or a anubian guard and such will instead request if allowed to become a snake like there Queen Cobra, to serve as part of Aplistia, ready to become Aplistia's eyes and bite any who try to oppose there Queen.
If so the golden snake marking would engulf the body taking it over and turning it into a serpent where it would be incased in a golden egg that would come out of Aplistia, but in this case you are still all in on the mummy idea.
after a day as your Queen her belly become more liquid gold and your body falls from her now branded with the golden cobra mark that now forever binds to Midnight Montain and the will of Midnight herself.
Standing up you are hannded to grand high prestess Gremory for your ritual that is much the same only varing very slightly in few minor ways.
1) like the mindless drones its not streamed unless you want it to be, same with the extra humilliation your being rewarded so your only going to be treated the same way as the lower slaves if you want it just for the full experaince.
2) unlike the lower slaves and mindless ones No snake collar is put around your neck under the bandages, Aplistia's mark already acts like a stronger version of the collar so there is no need
3) once the wrapping is complete a special golden bandage that starts at your neck is wraped around you to mimic Aplistia's mark to let everyone know your that kind of slave that like Gremory is so fully devoted to Midnight and shows that they willingly wanted this.
4) by far the biggest one while the eyes are still pure gold with swirls the good conversion keeps a small part of there free will, most stuff is out of your control, you still obey without question and the shackles still move your body regardless of if you want it to or not, and many things like who you were and what your name is are removed, you are just still mummified slave IS-30 unless one of the greater demons names you otherwise but like Gremory (that is at stage 4 in brainwashing terms) you have just enough free will to be able to speak for yourself and interact with your masters, so let say for example if you are assigned as one of midnight's personal servants and she asks you for example in a morning what tea's are available (something you will know before hand as its your job).
you will be able to list of the different types and say a new one came it be able to say.
"we also got a shipment of gold leaf early this morning, a new type from X island if my perfect mistress wishes to try that one"

Topaz are designated as fodder for the Anubian guards to use, they will always be seen with there designated guard if on patrol around the island or if not with or given a designated guard they will be in a guard area, clean the area for them, polishing and sharpening there weapons and so on.
Guards will sometimes grow a attachment to a slave they have been assigned treating it more like a pet or student while there movement and mental functions are no where on the level of a guard sometimes a guard will train its slaves with a weapon of some kind to be slightly more dangerous than your standard variety.
Gem : Amethyst
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak) Only found in greater demon areas and with Pack Leader Anubian Guard
slightly higher than Topaz these are seen with higher guards like squad or high rank pack leaders, and around greater demon area's.
This variant is more dangerous, most of the time a Amethyst is a soul that was loyal to midnight but did not quite have what it took to become a guard, be it lack of will power or confidence as guards while obedient still have that will and confidence to lead, able to co-ordinate with others to resolve a situation, but not everyone is cut out to lead and some are better at following orders these are 90% amethysts those that did not quite become a anubian guard but still have that will to fight and defend the glorious daughter of greed.
Put on cycles with Anubin guards they are put on roughly the same kind of trainer routines and again while mummified witch douse hinder them slightly these ones will be proficient with some kind of weapon and the guard commanding them will know how to command them in a way that they can used as a real threat, however most normal incidents can be taken care of by normal guards and the topaz rank and so these are usually only seen either with a pack leader or in "Castles" of the greater demons those that rule of each area in Queen Midnight's name like the Nile Queen of the Oasis ring or the high prise of the main temple of worship in the village at the foot of the mountain who takes direct orders for Grand High Priestess Gremory.
They hold power of there area and its only natural that even there slaves are better than average.
Gem : Citrine
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak) but most common in Moonlit Cliffside and greater demon areas
These are quite rare you will see a few patrolling the moonlit cliffside with a guard or 2 given that the cliffside leads to the peaks where the strongest and most feared reside.
like the 2 below them they are skilled with a weapon as they are slaves to the great demons and directly take orders from them,
if you ever see mummified slaves standing near a greater demons throne or within there main domain it will always bear the orange citrine gemstone in its necklace, if you ever see a slave say on Gremory's streams be it getting her a drink or holding some ritual incense lantern on her Sunday sermons on how great Senpie Midnight is, it will always bear a citrine gemstone.
Gem : Diamond
Clearance : All Areas (Baring The Shattered Peak) ONLY in Midnight's Peak
Basically what Gremory nearly became, the most mindlessly loyal to Midnight herself, they will do anything for Midnight to a obsessive degree, lick her feet, be her toy anything, say the word and they will do it, Diamonds however don't just start diamond you start at sapphire and have to work for it, rising from sapphire you will obey because you love Midnight, but to be with Midnight, to be ordered around by her personally you want nothing more and so you will do everything you can to make make her and anyone connected with her happy with you pushing yourself limits to rise though the ranks taking there free time to make a relationship with and train with a anubian guard to go to a topaz, training to the level to please a pack leader to become a amethyst, showing blind loyalty to the greater demons amethyst get to interact with to become there puppet and get citrine and finally serving a greater like Gemory so well that she or another greater demon might if your lucky tell midnight to turn you into a diamond.
Gem : Rainbow
Clearance : None - Only Found down the rabbit hold in Minus's World
the toon version of the mummified slaves, its unclear if they are real souls taken by Minus or Midnight given they can share capture souls, or if they are some manifestation of this crazy world at the bottom of the rabbit hole, its no secret that this area maybe even alternate dimension as it can change and bend to Minus's will.
Strang creatures and characters can be manifested and disappear as she so desires, so discerning what is a "real" entity especially after it has been "Toonifed" is quite hard.
what is know is the rainbow gemstone ones act much like there emerald counterparts ones, mindless and stiffer than sapphire and above that have some level of a though process, naturally like most things here everything is exaggerated with one of there eyes bigger, the swirl more pronounced, there smile also bigger and out of proportion to the head, there body very flexible and some what stretchy like the good old rubber hose cartoons.
some do seem to be able to do outlandish things like stretch there arms a bit to grab victims or manifest a throwing dagger from behind there back showing they have some access to the "Behind the back" dimension or "Toon Space" witch may show signs of a topaz rank but they are the least of your worries here in this wacky land where you stand out as a normal entity you might even say your a bit "OUT OF TOON" XD
Gem : Carbonados (Black Diamond)
Clearance : None - Only Found on The Shattered Peak
if these are Mummies, everything beyond the gate to the shattered peak is all warped and twisted corrupted by the darkness and insanity this place radiates, if these are souls they are not Midnights, but that of the Old God, twisted souls from some long dead world, if they are and not just some construct of the gem core itself, these mummified slaves are like the emerald, mindless, emotionless but feel different, they feel wrong and extremely dangerous.
there eyes glow bright pink with dark light, there slimes are twisted and if destroyed or damaged the crystal not on there neck but in there chest reforms them, even if there are totally blown apart the black diamond will remain and reform the body reforming with the same mindless glowing eyes and unflinching twisted smile arms still outstretched and moving towards you, its unclear what would happen if they touch you but then again the shattered peak is a area that no demon should be on or even think to visit.

Behaviour
===========
Now while there are varying ranks and creation methods all follow the same patterns of behaviour,
(aside from the 2 version from the rabbit hole and the shattered peaked as mentioned above they seem to never sleep or follow this behaviour)
That being upon there creation depending on rank they are send out across the mountain to there designated areas,
each mummy constantly walking with its arms stretched out as per the real world versions you see in films and shows,
they will continue to walk around mindless until summon to do a task at witch point there body and mind is controlled to obey and they follow there task until complete, some willing and some not so.
the higher ranking of sapphire and above able to also give input and such things while at the same time still having no control over there body but to them that's what they want and it feels nice.
Each mummified slave follows the pattern of movement and obedience on a 12-16 hour cycle the ruby and emerald on 16 hour cycles and the sapphire and above on 12 hour cycles, when this cycle is reaching its time limit (roughly 15 minuets before) the necklace itself commands them to seek out the nearest sarcophagus for them to rest in, as these are not just something for them to be entombed in and rest, they are more like magical reset stations, upon a mummified slave entering one there arms will cross and it will close and seal itself, now sealed the sarcophagus will do several things
*) any damage a mummified slave as sustained will be repaired as the soul is within Aplistia so this is little more than a puppet at this point so if say a arm is removed, liquid gold will remake the arm and rebandage it.
*) all bandages will be cleaned of sands and other dirt and fluids that might have accrued across the course of the day to keep all slaves in pristine condition
*) given this is where they sleep naturally it will release things like melatonin to help sleep and ensure they are fully refreshed during this 8 hour rest period before the next cycle
*) and lastly should one ever "Die" now that Midnight owns there soul the body's respawn point is set to her island (this is the same for all arch demons) so should a "death" occur a golden vessel will be formed and wrapped within the sarcophagus and the soul will awaken rested and refreshed within the next 24 hours of its own respawn and the cycle it was designated to, the soul spawning back as a mummified slave and awaking from a sarcophagus.
these can be found all over the mountain from the common areas you would find them like the pyramids to the catacombs, but also less common areas like houses as some of the slightly higher up in the crystal hills own a slave or 2 and its convenient to have a few in the house so there slaves can rest there but also more common house in the oasis village do have them in order to use slaves from the moment they wake.
and that is, now in there cycle for all eternity.
For the lesser 16 hours of obedience and servitude before being forced to rest in a tomb for 8 hours to repeat for ever and ever.
the slightly higher like the sapphire and up that chose this willing operate on 12 hours of slavery but then have 4 hours of free time before they are to controlled into there tombs.
as Topaz for example directly working with anubian guards would naturally be on a anubain guards cycle so in the 4 hours of free time they may choose to spend it playing a video game or watching a movie with the guard they are assigned to as when there time is up both them and the anubian guard will rest and wake at the exact same time.
Others if hell born may choose to visit family on the island if they are near, proud to server Midnight and just talk as normal.
Or even go to a lover being in a relationship as while most of there individuality is gone now nameless serialised dime a dozen grunts even grunts can form relationships and its not that hard for 2 mummified slaves to be put on the same cycle and even move to rest in the same sarcophagus if you are loyal enough of course, your arch demon can make anything happen and you have been a good little slave and while like Mommy Mammon she will never give up a single piece of gold she enjoys mindlessly loyal puppets and is more than happy to give you what you want if your willing to give everything you have and everything you are to your all powerful amazing arch demon of greed.
