Principles of the mansus: lantern
Lantern, principle of light, the glory, the mansus and knowledge, is the weakest of the eight in terms of combat; usually reserved for assessing the situation at hand or uncovering hidden truths
Channeling lantern influence grants Loki an improved memory, translates ancient tongues into his own and grants him a better comprehension than normal; while his intellect remains unchanged, this combined can prove useful in finding leads when investigation turns up empty
in his hands is the glory’s light, a magnifying glass that proves useful in finding clues. Though on its own it’s no different than a regular one, save for its ability to make certain texts display a visual aid in case he’s unfamiliar with the subject.
As soon as it’s on though, it channels a light that reveals things unseen to the naked eye; footprints, stains, ghosts, nothing will be undetected while the light is on
While the ability to deduce weak points, uncover hidden clues and simplify complex information proves useful, that’s frankly all it can do on its own, and requires the other influences to be more applicable. There’s also the caveat of Loki’s unaffected intelligence, which may lead to him forming incorrect assumptions about the information he has gathered.
