I love this bestial take on Edwin. Take note of the thickness of his neck, skull, and ears (which almost appear like wings!). The brow is also a thick, but is counter balanced by the detail and expression in the eyes. I also love how the hands turned out, that they have long, bony fingers tipped with pointed nails. It achieves a balance between elegance and physical strength. Lastly, great use of a suit jacket slung over the shoulders. That generates visual complexity with how the dark gray jacket differentiates from the white, wrinkled shirt as well as making Edwin's shoulders appear broader than they are.
In short: refined, but in possession of raw, physical power.
Detail = beyond Plenty. There are few open spots in this piece, but some minor details do a great job of expressing physiology (e.g., details in and around the hands, base of the neck). There is a surprising amount of detail for the undershirt.
Shape & Borders = just more than Sharp, Hard Lines. Thick and inky lines play a strong role in the piece. Although there is fur to break up the silhouette, the little tufts of fur are distinct (e.g., a forest made out of individual trees).
Anthro type = Beast Person. The snout and ears are convincing, add in those claw-like fingers as well as the thick neck.
Furry Art Style Category = Technical.
