Ok, so I've had a few days over Easter where my mood's been in the gutter... and I just couldn't think of what to do.
I found myself browsing youtube... rewatching some of Lythero's Dragonball FighterZ clips when I was inspired to do a pic of my boi Dante doing a UI Goku "Secret-Sensation" dodge...
While doodling this up, this also gave me inspired me to have another attempt at doodling up this Limit Breaker "D'ageroth" form or state I always had in the back of my head... (the idea being D'ageroth is meant to be Daemon tongue for God Warrior)
So yeah... decided to try out some drawing techniques for after images as well as this "Limit Breaker" form...
Thoughts?
Anyway, hope you all enjoy. As always, don't forget to check out my Twitter where I upload all these things and more first. Also, alt Blue Fur version can be found HERE

It's kinda funny really, Dragonball has always been a major influence to me and I always wanted to come up with my own version of a "Super Saiyan" for my boi Dante... but I'd eventually want to develop the idea into a more universal form anyone could potentially reach... like a form of pure mastery... but I just couldn't figure out how to work the idea...
Then Dragonball Super comes along and goes "Oh, you mean Ultra Instinct?" and I'd be like "Yeah, that's EXACTLY what I me-- wait... ah bollocks!"

I love that you gave him the afterimages seen from the Street Fighter series (and potentially also KOF if I am correct) and here? It completely works to convey extremely fast movement! Combining with the sharp blurring or visual "shredding" really gives what you're trying to show us, a real sense of impactful and extremely speedy movement! Oh! How could I forget!? The energy emanating from the eye also very much helps despite being so small of a detail in comparison!
Ah, I see. So you are also a Lythero watcher as well. A man of culture I see.

Well funnily enough the first time I ever drew Dante... I was trying to draw a cool fighting game scene (specifically something out of Marvel vs Capcom) back in the mid 90s... so yeah, seems pretty fitting that I'd end up drawing something like this... as Street Fighter and the like was one of the things got me into Dragon Ball, Fist of the North Star etc (though I've been watching anime since I was a child... even though I didn't realise it at the time).
And yeah, been watching Lythero's stuff since some of his random Dragonball shenanigans randomly popped into my feed (specifically the ultra instinct "Drip" Goku clips).

It is quite fitting, and honestly it still works and pops easily here. I think you'd be able to pull off Special Move demonstration pictures if you wanted, I've seen another artist do it and I do not mind seeing another artist do it either, I like seeing the way everyone goes about it. Same can equally be said or even more so said for Supers/DMs/Super Specials/EX Supers/Lv Supers, plenty of which I've seen and have loved for quite a long time.
His Dragon Ball Shenanigans have such a different feel to them compared to other stuff, though the signature goofy nature always permeates through all the videos.
