Void Entity and close friend of the Devilwitch family, well at this point part of the family.
"Darkness" as one can infer is the twin brother of "The Light" and 1 of guardians of the twin gates of ascension, they are suppose to guard the gates of the realms, however "Darkness" is a special case even among void entities as while most void entities created by the Old Gods follow there purpose like the Old God of time creating a embodiment of time for this universe who governs time.
one of the Old Gods wanted to have some fun, Vertigo the Old God of insanity and mysticism took one of the souls from another world that she had been breaking and twisting for eternities untold, letting her play thing keep all his memories and the knowledge of the hidden truth, given he has heard "THE ORIGIN'S" voice under his now mother's (SEE "The Origin" Bio), that forbidden language of some ancient forgotten world that is yet to be born and she turned him into the embodiment of darkness while another created his sister "The Light".
making him the 3rd entity created right behind the brothers of creation and before the 4th, his now sister the embodiment of light,
while his task is to guard the gates of hell it is clear that the roaring tempest in his head that cause drastic personality shift within a instant and his corrupted and twisted soul of madness and discord will often draw him away be it to the mortal realm or the depth of the rings of hell, to mess with these malevolent souls as his mother had toyed with him for so so many eternities, forced to watch entire universes and afterlives end and being all the while hearing his mother voice and that un-natural voice underneath her own, its hard to say just how much of the dragon from that long gone world remains, and how much has been swallowed by "The Darkness" HA PUN.
but sometimes when in a kind or compassionate mood he will reminisce and even show knowledge of his old world as seen with the gem lanterns
found across Midnight Mountain and taught to his new sister.
"it was a amazing place sister, a realm like no other, ruled by dragons that could shape the very essence of the world to there will,
those that could touch the magic in the air and craft it into all kinds of amazing things, those that could see the building blocks of life and make fantastical beasts and the greatest of all the dragons that could touch the ether of creation and weave it in to dreams for all the creatures of the realm.
these lanterns are one such creation, in a land far away from my home there was a place where a race of kangaroo-rats could grow gems like they were fruit, and when plucked from the earth the magical dragons could use a enchanted flame to make these coloured crystals as see though as glass while still retaining there colour and breath into them a undying dragon's flame that could cut though even the darkest night, ironic really "The Darkness" itself knowing and showing "The Light" how to illuminate his own night".
However this is but one of "Darkness" many personality shifts that are unpredictable given he is very reactionary that being he can swap on a dime if something provokes a strong enough reaction like with Midnight.
Staring in his more playful idiot persona, bowing to her, letting himself be her slave for a bit of fun, if midnight did anything wrong he would have killed her without a second though seen moments after when his fun was interrupted by a captain holding the 2 at gun point at that moment "Darkness" fun was ruined and so reacted accordingly swapping from playful idiot into a serious anger with every intent that not one member of that crew was getting away and all were going to be burned to dust, witch he did and with the killjoys gone his fun could resume and instantly his personally switch back to playful idiot.
These are but a few but in certain circumstances, but his personality can go to absolute extremes, from a Lover with the most caring and kind companion you will ever see to full scorched earth where in he will trap you, binding you with chains of darkness created from the night or shadows after all he is the very embodiment of darkness so darkness is his to command, and now trapped he will break your soul, creating illusions and nightmare in your mind, im sure you have all felt it or even seen it before right?
Ever had that moment where your lying in bed in the dark and you catch something out the corner of your eye like you think something moved and it put you on edge, or the full extreme of the sleep paralysis demons like the so called "Shadow Man" imagen that but this a nightmare you cant wake up from and imagen that but a whole lot worse.
even the greatest of sinners will beg to be released from this nightmare and as they being broken he will hit them with a fate worse than hell itself, "Darkness" own fate.
"maybe I will, or maybe I will give you to mother, after all who would not want to have there soul shattered across a thousands lives and watch the birth and death of countless universe? who would not want to be a puppet in a timeless realm where there is no logic or meaning? mother always love new toys "Breaking the sinners arm so they scream", why don't I show you how FUUUUUUUUNNNN it is to be a toy that as no control over there body or mind"
This is by no means a empty threat either, the Old Gods are above this realm and like all before it when eternity reaches it end every realm will fall and every soul created will be divide up accordingly and "Cleaned" before realizing the hidden truth.
"so what is a soul here or a soul there, its going to happen sooner or later and a gift to mother every once in a while is nice, you should always show appreciation to your mother.
And your a sinner so its not like anyone is going to miss you anyway".
As such Darkness can summon the Old God of Insanity or at least a small fragment of her from her realm as these beings are so far beyond reality and normal concept that if one were to be normally summoned into this plane of existence they would be infinitely big, they could hold each realm in the palm of there hand as if this place of infinite souls is nothing more than a snow glob to be displayed on there mantel.
This basically turns "Darkness" into a vessel for the Old God, at this point the body is hers to move and as such power leaks into this reality and into "Darkness" makes the body now beyond any void entity, when speaking its now her voice, both her voices, the body now radiating a aura that bends all to its will, if it points and something and will it so what it wants it will happen.
This is seen in Midnights Bio (See Midnight's Bio) when she awakes as a arch demon after her transformation and Vertigo speaks though her puppet, all in the room start to lose there minds as the fabric of reality bends and twists, and all even the sin of greed itself Mammon starts laughing uncontrollably while holding her head in agonising pain, all hearing that other voice under hers, they cant make it out be even just this 1 single minuet this, that tiny 60 seconds of her speaking feels like hours.
Sometimes this is voluntary, sometimes not, like with Aplsita being able to see though the eyes of the souls that became snakes,
the Old God of insanity can see though "Darkness" eyes whenever she wants, when he dreams his soul can return home and tell her all that has been going on and if she feels like it she can take over whenever she feels.
This makes "Darkness" the most dangerous of all the void entities and his unstable and fractured mind can cause a state where as a sinner your not just being killed and reset your going to his mothers realm, or even worse you might not even be speaking to "Darkness" you might be speaking to the Old God itself now using his body as a vessel and channelling her power though it, hence when dealing with "Darkness" the most extreme of extreme care and caution is required.
It is to be noted however that given what he is, and the truth he knows that his main personality is the "playful idiot"
when not snapped and switched this is default state, the carefree fun loving extremely chill dragon but also extremely chaotic with his looks and cloths matching this every changing splitting personality.
Darkness himself being a very dark purple dragon with a lighter purple belly, wings, ears and tail fin, with golden orbs embedded into his arms, legs upper tail and under his eyes.
his eyes glowing a nice ocean blue witch is fairly uniform colours for a dark creature only to launch into his fur, that is grown out from the backs of his arms and upper tail and his head, especially his head exploding into a huge full back length rainbow mane that stars darker and gets lighter moving outwards and given its natural shine and the way it burst out in layers of colour it looks like one of them rainbow oils spills that that happen in water.
His 2 main cloths also following this same 2 tone chaotic mess,
with the black "Fitness Shorts" being a more standard normal black and suited to a male with trim of gold metal round bottoms,
then the top being a lycra / spandex girl's almost ballet top in a bright pink that sticks to his scales to show of his more male abs but also his more feminine figure witch when you add his normal jewellery of his horn rings and ear / wing rings on show female side to counter the male side.
This is even more pronounced now as after midnight's ascension to arch demon, "Darkness" kept her old jewellery of her bracelets, neckless and eye pendent that was her old soul container wearing them with pride as it was a gift from his "demon mom" from the years they spend sailing across "The Sea" to reach El Dorado and the bond they share.
There is one other piece of clothing he wears witch at 1st glance is the biggest piece and the one that sticks out the most, the light purple and white rope that is tied around his waste and into a bow behind his back.
This is a Shimenawa.
Shimenawa (標縄/注連縄/七五三縄) are lengths of laid rice straw or hemp rope used for ritual purification.
Shimenawa vary in diameter from a few centimetres to several metres,
A space bound by shimenawa typically indicates a sacred or ritually pure space, such as that of a Shinto shrine.
Shimenawa are believed to act as a ward against evil spirits.
They are often found at Shinto shrines, torii gates, and sacred landmarks.
in this realm the rope was actually meaningless but by change or fate some good things happed in the ropes presence again purely by chance, however these good things became corelated with the rope and for the mortals it it became a holy item in that culture, the guardian of heaven's gate looked into it and like the idea and created the 1st real Shimenawa.
Still woven with rice straw but during its weaving she imbued her light into it, turning into the master Shimenawa, and so long as at least one strand of the next rope rests on this master one for 16 hours the master one will pass on its holy effects to the strand and ever since every single Shimenawa has at least 1 strand that has lay on the master for 16 hours making all of them real holy relics, or at least given them a light aura that dose deter dark creatures and evil, you cant use them to purify or anything like that its more a deterrent because of the warm holy light aura they give off.
but after this "The Light" made one for her brother, binding it round his waste and into a more fashionable bow serving 3 purposes.
1) Merely as a gift, he showed her how to create the gem lanterns now she made him a nice rope
2) A gesture of there sibling bond, now as part of his outfit no matter how far away he is a piece of his sister is always with him,
with the same being said of her as if you see both "Darkness" ears you will notice its not semantical and he is missing his right earing, a earing that "The Light now wears on her right horn.
3)the most important reason to her, as the description says they are used as a ritually pure space and to ward of evil spirit,
like master rope she created and all others after "Darkness" Shimenawa is imbued with his sisters holy light, and while wearing this "Darkness" dose seem more stable and happy, she know exactly what he is and what he can do and given he has to guard the demons she dose not want him to feel that evil getting to him, he already has the biggest demon of the them all that being the truth of the world he has to deal with and of course a Old God and "The Origin's" forbidden voice in his head he dose not need any more evil.
"For you my dear brother, keep it on and feel at peace, my light is always with you and will always protect you from the evils of the realm you guard"
And he dose keep it on, he loves his sister and she is right about it making him slightly more relaxed and stable, only ever taking it off to get clean himself or wash it, as a few hours of it off its not to bad, its only after a day or 2 you can see "Insane Darkness" creeping back in as his mind becomes more unstable, so aside form a shower or cloths wash you will never see him with it off, even when asleep with is top and pants off the Shimenawa remains.
then there are his weapons that follow this same 2 tone rule
Shatter The Skies (Kanabo)
Shatter the skies is his own forged weapon and main weapon you will see him with and using, the main body forged from a unbreakable void iron, basically iron infused with void particles, the same iron that "The Lawmaker" uses on the frame of his crystal that hold the small central band that the inscription is engraved into.
The kanabo being a thick blunt force power weapon there is no grace to one of these things you swing and you hit very hard, and yet despite the weapon type and its class power rather than balance or speed and grace like his sisters sword, the normal spikes of the kanabo have been removed and replaced with void gems, same idea a gem like a ruby infused with void particles to be unbreakable utilizing the same technique "The Lawmaker" uses to create his own void crystals.
striking that duel personality of a big thick powerful weapon but still having grace and beauty with the gems sparkling all over it.
it gets it name from what it may very well one day do, at eternity end when its time for the Old Gods to clam this realm, this weapon will quite literally shatter the skies of the realm opening it up the plains of the Old Gods allowing them to clam what its there's.
Much Like "Darkness" himself "Shatter The Skies" is considered the most dangerous weapon in creation in terms of raw damage output,
of course its dependent on the wielder but in "Darkness" hands even a standard none aura focused swig can very very easily be a one shot, in terms of raw damage out put it takes something truly powerful to even withstand a strike from this thing with only 2 so far being able to do so, that being Evny herself Lyra with her having the naturally highest defence of all the 14 sisters and even void entity's given Evny Gems are pretty much void gems and cant be removed or broken with this effect leaking into her shell, pincers and skin like she just has a high armament aura permanently on by default.
but the other one and the real only one single creature is Furia, Furia to this day is the only one that has naturally ever been able to block shatter the skies given she can imbue her sword with the aura of a conquer and also armament aura at the same time with her living up to the name of her sword, the name of her sword translates to
"Second To None"
and while it is only sparing and she can never beat a void entity she constantly trains with him to be and maintain that title of "The Realms Strongest" and in terms of power and conquering who better to train with than the one that will one day break the very sky itself.
but for other things like speed, dogging you would want someone with ungodly observation like "The Light." who has never had to defend once and with what people assume is her diamond eyes ends every match in a single strike, but as for "Darkness" other weapon his actual void weapon.
The 5 Unholy Prisms
"Darkness" actual void weapon like "The Lawmakers" Crystals or his sisters own 16 holy swords, 99% of the time the will be rotating counter clockwise round him just slightly behind him, but there is that 1% if he is messing with someone like the captain of Midnight story he will conceal them in his massive rainbow mane for a big revile, but normally these prisms rotate around his back for all to see.
made by the Old Gods these are directly tied to the entity and act almost autonomously, if the entity is asleep while invincible, in "Darkness" case they will continue to rotate and should anyone approach with hostile intent they wont hesitate to fire a dark beam of pure void energy at the attacker.
when awake "Darkness" has subconscious control over them, able to turn and aim each one independently fire off certain ones either one at a time all at once and so on.
these 5 prisms are a pure black void crystal that are clear and see though, they have a dark purple shine to it as the rotate, the edges where the faces connect have a bright pink outline.
the same colours are present when fired.
When firing the prisms will spin drawing in light and charging up before releasing a beam of dark light once again displaying that 2 tone look the light is well light, it illuminates the area like a normal beam, but at the same time given its colours its a dark light so while lighting up a area it is also sucking in light and making the beam darker than what it would normally be, giving off its really nice dark light effect, with the beam following the same colours as the prism with the centre of the beam being pure black like the black hole part sucking in the surrounding light, before fading into a lighter but still dark purple before fading into a nice light pink on the outer edges of the beams.
like "The Light's" "16 Holy Swords" or "The Lawmaker's" "Crystals Of Order" given they are triggered subconsciously no verbal or even physical communication is needed to trigger them meaning its incredibly hard to predict what they are doing and react accordingly and harder to still defend against, "Darkness" beams going with whole power theme, these beams are basically mini satellite cannon lasers, they are going to hit with force and heat, even if you are defending to block the beam, the beam itself will melt right though a weaker sword or for a stronger one explode on impact thus shattering the weapon only extremely strong forged weapons like ones made by Sindy herself can stand up to these things and even then its still recommended you imbue your weapon with some kind of armouring aura.
as for any extra information on "Darkness" there is to much, something that will be similar with all void entities.

so for all Void Entities there will not be extra information or stories, given they are so intertwined with the realms as they are the ones that govern and control them they will be everywhere and thus there is to much information for any of them to fit all here in one bio, so for all of them you will get the basic info with maybe a few key reference like Midnight's adventure or interactions with light.

And he dose keep it on, he loves his sister and she is right about it making him slightly more relaxed and stable, only ever taking it off to get clean himself or wash it, as a few hours of it off its not to bad, its only after a day or 2 you can see "Insane Darkness" creeping back in as his mind becomes more unstable, so aside form a shower or cloths wash you will never see him with it off, even when asleep with is top and pants off the Shimenawa remains.
then there are his weapons that follow this same 2 tone rule
Shatter The Skies (Kanabo)
Shatter the skies is his own forged weapon and main weapon you will see him with and using, the main body forged from a unbreakable void iron, basically iron infused with void particles, the same iron that "The Lawmaker" uses on the frame of his crystal that hold the small central band that the inscription is engraved into.
The kanabo being a thick blunt force power weapon there is no grace to one of these things you swing and you hit very hard, and yet despite the weapon type and its class power rather than balance or speed and grace like his sisters sword, the normal spikes of the kanabo have been removed and replaced with void gems, same idea a gem like a ruby infused with void particles to be unbreakable utilizing the same technique "The Lawmaker" uses to create his own void crystals.
striking that duel personality of a big thick powerful weapon but still having grace and beauty with the gems sparkling all over it.
it gets it name from what it may very well one day do, at eternity end when its time for the Old Gods to clam this realm, this weapon will quite literally shatter the skies of the realm opening it up the plains of the Old Gods allowing them to clam what its there's.
Much Like "Darkness" himself "Shatter The Skies" is considered the most dangerous weapon in creation in terms of raw damage output,
of course its dependent on the wielder but in "Darkness" hands even a standard none aura focused swig can very very easily be a one shot, in terms of raw damage out put it takes something truly powerful to even withstand a strike from this thing with only 2 so far being able to do so, that being Evny herself Lyra with her having the naturally highest defence of all the 14 sisters and even void entity's given Evny Gems are pretty much void gems and cant be removed or broken with this effect leaking into her shell, pincers and skin like she just has a high armament aura permanently on by default.
but the other one and the real only one single creature is Furia, Furia to this day is the only one that has naturally ever been able to block shatter the skies given she can imbue her sword with the aura of a conquer and also armament aura at the same time with her living up to the name of her sword, the name of her sword translates to
"Second To None"
and while it is only sparing and she can never beat a void entity she constantly trains with him to be and maintain that title of "The Realms Strongest" and in terms of power and conquering who better to train with than the one that will one day break the very sky itself.
but for other things like speed, dogging you would want someone with ungodly observation like "The Light." who has never had to defend once and with what people assume is her diamond eyes ends every match in a single strike, but as for "Darkness" other weapon his actual void weapon.
The 5 Unholy Prisms
"Darkness" actual void weapon like "The Lawmakers" Crystals or his sisters own 16 holy swords, 99% of the time the will be rotating counter clockwise round him just slightly behind him, but there is that 1% if he is messing with someone like the captain of Midnight story he will conceal them in his massive rainbow mane for a big revile, but normally these prisms rotate around his back for all to see.
made by the Old Gods these are directly tied to the entity and act almost autonomously, if the entity is asleep while invincible, in "Darkness" case they will continue to rotate and should anyone approach with hostile intent they wont hesitate to fire a dark beam of pure void energy at the attacker.
when awake "Darkness" has subconscious control over them, able to turn and aim each one independently fire off certain ones either one at a time all at once and so on.
these 5 prisms are a pure black void crystal that are clear and see though, they have a dark purple shine to it as the rotate, the edges where the faces connect have a bright pink outline.
the same colours are present when fired.
When firing the prisms will spin drawing in light and charging up before releasing a beam of dark light once again displaying that 2 tone look the light is well light, it illuminates the area like a normal beam, but at the same time given its colours its a dark light so while lighting up a area it is also sucking in light and making the beam darker than what it would normally be, giving off its really nice dark light effect, with the beam following the same colours as the prism with the centre of the beam being pure black like the black hole part sucking in the surrounding light, before fading into a lighter but still dark purple before fading into a nice light pink on the outer edges of the beams.
like "The Light's" "16 Holy Swords" or "The Lawmaker's" "Crystals Of Order" given they are triggered subconsciously no verbal or even physical communication is needed to trigger them meaning its incredibly hard to predict what they are doing and react accordingly and harder to still defend against, "Darkness" beams going with whole power theme, these beams are basically mini satellite cannon lasers, they are going to hit with force and heat, even if you are defending to block the beam, the beam itself will melt right though a weaker sword or for a stronger one explode on impact thus shattering the weapon only extremely strong forged weapons like ones made by Sindy herself can stand up to these things and even then its still recommended you imbue your weapon with some kind of armouring aura.
as for any extra information on "Darkness" there is to much, something that will be similar with all void entities.

"Darkness was present when "The Pharaoh" created Tu-Tu (See 1st Anubian Guard Tutu)
and he will be present for many more more things to come, the same for all of them.
"The Lawmaker" will be seen with both "The Pharaoh" & Giada's stories
"The Agent" will be seen in Gremory's story
"The Light" has been seen here interacting with her brother and will be seen again
so for all Void Entities there will not be extra information or stories, given they are so intertwined with the realms as they are the ones that govern and control them they will be everywhere and thus there is to much information for any of them to fit all here in one bio, so for all of them you will get the basic info with maybe a few key reference like Midnight's adventure or interactions with light.
but for the most part all there other information will be present in all the other stories of the world, events and characters that they have interreacted with.
