this is an art test for a potential commission (!!!) but also just a very timely excuse to do a style study of ye olde disney movies. like dark ages ye olde. kids, thank the jungle book and lady and the tramp for their contributions to society (and stay tuned for more bitchass disney adult shenanigans!!!!!)
mfw faux cels. anyway, pretty gurl has been ever so slightly redesigned to better suit the aesthetics of that time period in film making. she kinda looks like sarabi imo. the fact that homegirl didn't canonically have earrims... tlk2 character designers i love you and i wish i was you but you dropped the ball

I love this redesign, she looks so cute! I love her with ear rims.
I also noticed you gave her whiskers. I've always wondered why the movies only gave male lions whiskers and not the lionesses. Were they worried it would look like facial hair and make people think the females had mustaches lmao?
