---Homer, nicknamed "Scamp": Rambunctious, mischievous, and curious. The last born, he's the only boy as well as the worst trouble maker. He's nothing if not inquisitive, he just lacks common sense.
---Danielle, formerly "Scooter" and nicknamed "Dani": Fun-loving, oblivious, and silly. The second born, she'd definitely be the problem child if her brother wasn't less obedient then her. She was very shy as a teeny puppy, but her parents' encouragement has made her much more confident.
---Annette, nicknamed "Ruffy": Reserved, shy, and sharp-witted. The third born, she's physically the smallest of her much pushier, louder siblings. She prefers to observe a situation before getting involved or giving her opinion on it (clever girl.)
---Collette, nicknamed "Fluffy": Haughty, unfettered, and practical. The first born, she fancies herself the ringleader of her litter (even if her siblings often disagree.) Her kindly parents won't let her act too prissy, but they can't suppress all of her big attitude.
