Honestly. What you say and the comic say clash.

So from what is seen & said in the comic is that Calie is making soup in the rain, soup being food. Which doesn't make sense to me for a few reason.

But then you say that Calie is braving the element to make a foundation for the portal. So she is not making soup but is infact making a foundation for the portal. Which has me wondering why Schwarzi I'd calling it soup.

The comic and you are saying something different.

It's quite simple actually. Schwarzpelz says: "You've been stirring that soup for ages" while obviously he's not referring to "actual" soup but something that "looks" like soup to him. Also I doubt that he even knows what this "stuff" is that Calie is stirring around in, so he just chose a word that described this substance the best in his eyes. Hope that clears up the confusion. 😉

I can kinda see how Calie is using the rain to mix a substitute mortar for the foundation which makes sense to do in the rain but if she has enough barrels she could try building a water collection system to catch all that rainfall and then add the water to the "mortar" the next day and instead of being out in the rain, snuggle up with the big wolf and stay warm and dry. 😋

I also doubt that this rain is the highly praised warm summer rain kind. ^^' So, being soaked to the skin surely isn't going to be any good for her. '>.>

Probably not enough barrels around for that x3 Plus she's used to the hard work and doesn't mind the rain. She a tough girl~
