This year's febrewary is much more muted & abstract! For the 28 days of Feb I did 7 distinct lines of bottle designs for a re-imagined or maybe re-interpreted version of the 4 greek loves.
An easy summary is like:
Eros is physical and about the body. Pretty simple! Classic love potions.
Storge is typically associated with parental love but this is a horny acct & I like abstract thought, so I redefined this one a lot. Tbh I ended up doing that with all of them but Eros LMAO-- but I did try to keep them in the spirit of their original definitions. In this interpretation, Storge is loves that are centered around a sort of human dignity dynamic, love given freely based on the premise of compassion & human connection-- a 'to humans, by humans' kind of dealie, or maybe like an empathetic love since it could be applied to anything humans can humanize.
Philia thru this lens is centered around kinds of platonic love that aren't just like friendships (while it does include those)-- a good way of putting it is centered explicitly around kinds of loves between individual identities, including the self (hence nostalgia being there). It's scope is more specific than Storge & Agape, but not as specific as Eros
Agape tends to be a sort of pure, chaste love, but I expanded it to be more like the sort of humbling that comes from the sublime? That's jargon-y, maybe a better way to put it is if Eros is primal love, Philia is personal love, Storge is compassionate love, then Agape is like cosmic love, feelings associated with love of wonder, purpose, & connection with something bigger.
