Read it from the beginning on Tapastic
Hunger rules the predator and fear drives the prey -- but change is coming.
=====
Fun fact about this whole scene - Ages ago, Patreons got to choose a new name for Seral from his previous placeholder name before the wolves became central players. Patreons voted from a list of names and I wonder how these scene would of played out if his name hadn't been 'Seral'
(If you don't know, a seral is an ecological term for an area mid recovery from a burn)
Anyway, you too can occasionally vote on character names, see WIPs, read ahead and help support the comic on Patreon!

~~ Oren and the One-Eyed Wolf ~~
This 13-page side comic is set nebulously between the first and second volume of Oren’s Forge. In a dual narrative between Oren and Gristle, the One-Eyed Wolf, the story delves into the past and provides insight into the wolf pack, as well as Oren’s motivations for starting the Hollow. You can read it on Patreon, or grab the PDF on my ko-fi shop!

One of my favorite things about this story is how clear it is that every character is trying to do the right thing. Even if I (and the other characters) wouldn't have made the same choices, they're doing the best they think they can with what they have.
Also, the last traces of sunlight vanishing on this page is a nice touch.
