Here's Jeanette Schneider, a cousin of Arlan Schneider, one of the characters in my Daggers of Darkness™ sci-fi novel series. Arlan is a "near-human" of skunk G.E.L.F. ancestry, though Jeanette is (mostly) a straight-up skunk G.E.L.F. (like most of their family, there is some human, and Arlan just happened to have been born as a near-human, by the roll of the genetic dice).

When I was working on this, I originally thought I'd draw Arlan's sister, Stephani, though in the story she's married (to a human guy who is a "fighter jock" in the Sol Federation of Worlds Space Service), and I wanted this to be a single gal...so, I decided on her being a 1st cousin.

The background is a small park next to the Chena River in downtown Fairbanks, Alaska.
