This is quite a boring page for page 500. I should have planned better done something with fireworks and explosions and coolness. or a super over the top baby page...but instead we get this...
Um...in a way its still kinda a good page, star being able to ask for help and getting support is still character progression and probably wouldnt have happened 500 pages ago. so we've come quite a distance.
So thanks to anyone/everyone who has been reading this from the beginning. your support has absoluetly kept me motivated to keep this thing running and telling this story and whilst its not far from the end now(I say that but its still 3 years work) that having everyone here with me has really helped me keep focused. So thank you!

i am kinda wonderin where this'll go.
i have a feeling her dad isn't JUST in the hospital and she might need some help from kim

I love this comic so much. And actually, I think that this scene is quite perfect for the 500th page! Star has finally found a support system! Her friends are there to support her and not just for little fun. I know with my friend its important for us to be good friends when we're big and smol. This is a beautiful page.Thank you!
There was an image recently in the comics that i feel rly captures Star havin found a support system. Cant remember exact comic rn, but it had a wide panel shot of Star surrounded by all her friends; whilst Star was thinkin about she has so many friends supportin her, and feels bad that its still hard for her
I wudnt say this is an example of Star askin for help exactly, but still her acceptin help which is like just as hard as askin is. Tho this is also an example of Star not hidin her problems even tho she no doubt feels a burden for havin problems; which is a huge step forward in askin for help that is worthy of recognition
Star at the start of this likely wudve gotten the call, had all the worry bubbles, and when asked wudve insisted from the start that it was fine and an urgent thing came up, but not goin into detail about what; so as to not even "worry others" with her problems, as our brains so oft think when it comes to talkin about our problems
Thats the thing, if no one knows of the problems; then gettin help from others is next to impossible, as they dont even know to offer it. So its a huge deal to even just be able to talk about such things; let alone to be able to accept, and one day even ask for, help. That is huge character progression indeed :3

Its just like how we dont say Nobinaried or Gayed or Lesbianed or Cisgendered.
And also it wudnt be described that way bcuz that wud imply the brother is a trans man. A better way to put it is "My theory is Star's brother was also transgender and became Kim", tho theres tons of similar ways to say it; just dont put the word trans before bro here or else it sounds like youre sayin the opposite
Also, given the timeline of things; it does seem impossible for Kim to have once been Star's brother (note how in this sentence i dont make it sound like im callin Kim a brother in any way)
