I broke my right ankle early morning Memorial Day. I'd been trimming branches overhanging the back yard ahead of setting up a pool, and lost my balance. I jumped clear of the step ladder and landed on an uneven surface. Broke both lower leg bones in what's called a pilon fracture.

The bolder brother of our two cats, Knuckles was in the back yard, in a pet playpen. He started crying for help immediately after my accident.

I'm three and a half weeks into healing. At the moment  Silnat and I are enjoying a little vacation at Anthrocon.
