Now here is Roger Reacock, the Black Ranger in Freedom Squadron: Liberanger. Being a peacock, Roger had always wondered what it would be like to fly like most other birds can, and when he becomes Libre Black and got to pilot the Libre Robin, he saw what flying was like and liked it. Although his start on the Liberanger team didn't start out very well, thankfully the other rangers were able to help him overcome the problem. What problem was that? You'll have to wait and see when he makes his debut in the series.

Notes:
1. Roger is based upon Champ/Oushi Black from Uchu Sentai: Kyuranger (AKA, the TRUE Cosmic Fury Black Ranger).
2. Roger is the second peacock ranger in the Super Animal Squadron franchise after Gail Penson in Fantasy Squadron: Medievalger and the first to be male.
3. He was originally going to be a robin, and his surname would have been Robinson, but after thinking it over, I decided a peacock would be better. His mecha however remained as a robin.
4. His ranger form as well as his mecha is a reference to Soaring Squadron: Skyranger, who have mostly bird-based mecha.
5. He is the first Black Ranger since Tracy Greytail in Sneaky Squadron: Stealthranger and the first to be part of the core team since Ash Hawkeye in Video Squadron: Gamerman.
6. His clothes are based on Ryu Tendo's from Chojin Sentai: Jetman.
7. He is one of two Liberangers, the other being Alice, who is a color that no ranger from his reference series was (As there was no Sky Black).
