This is a large, flightless riding bird similar to the Dodo. These birds have powerful paws and a tail that they can defend themselves with. They also have a small "voice" bag on their head, which allows them to produce a wide range of sounds that can be heard over great distances. Some use this peculiarity of birds to make them guards for distant fortresses and towers.
