A character idea I've had stewing for a while.
His name is Olven and he used to be guard until he was discharged due to an injury. He got better, but he gained weight due to inactivity and some comfort eating due to feeling miserable and frustrated. He's also always had a big appetite, but his guard job kept him fit. He makes a living doing odd jobs here and there and he's beginning to realize he didn't really like being a guard, preferring to find more peaceful ways of helping people. But it gave him a sense of purpose and he's struggling to find that again. He's also concerned about his growing waistline. After a few too many snacks that shirt won't last for much longer!

I wan't these elves to be subtly animal-ish but still read as elves. I'll probably mess with him and his species design a bit more. He's a hybrid between a smaller and more common elf and larger furrier ones that live in cold regions. So he's a bit taller and fluffier than most elves around his town.

He's lost his confidence and is a bit pessimistic. But he's gentle and considerate.
