The lazy sea breeze carried the faint, pleasant aroma of salt inland as the waves gently broke against the shore. Small sea birds darted to and fro as the water washed over the fine, perfectly smooth sand of the beach. The sun slowly descended beyond the horizon, the last rays of golden light painting the clouds overhead and the water below brilliant shades of amber and orange. Shadows stretched forth from the palm trees, bathing the sand in shade and leaving it pleasantly cool to the touch on this summer evening. The soothing sounds of the waves breaking against the coast, the wind gently rustling the palm fronds, the call of stray sea birds in the distance, it all created such a sense of tranquility, the perfect backdrop to match the beauty of the fading light on that picturesque beach. Not a soul stirred on that beach, an utterly pristine stretch of finely worn sand and crystal clear waters.
Not a soul save for two unlikely companions. They could almost be lost in this untouched, undiscovered corner of the world, not another creature could be found for miles save for birds and tiny crustaceans braving the sand in search of a larger home to grow into. And yet, they were right where they meant to be, undisturbed by the world around them, content in the simple and quiet companionship of one another as they lay nestled beside each other. The dragon lifted his wings ever so slightly to shade his canine companion as he laid his head to rest between her shoulders. The canine lazily sprawled as she laid one of her paws lightly across the much larger hand of the dragon, her coat shimmering faintly like starlight in the last gasp of sunlight. As the light faded further, the world was bathed in that palette of golds, reds, and purples that only accompanied the setting sun. A uniquely beautiful display that existed for but a short moment each day, and this particular moment was just for them. And in that moment as they closed their eyes to sleep, nestled together, all felt right in the world.

Oh sweetheart, this is truly an outstanding, harmonious, serene and spectacular scenario. But what is an heavenly spot like this calm oasis without the priceless presence of two best friends? Quite not the same wonder. I feel so happy when Fiadh can beautifully sleep against to her winged miracle, a pure sweet dragon as Kalian. As i type this... wow... I'm still thrilled with how this irresistible piece came out. You also wrote again such a lovely story for the amazing masterpiece created by Pauline Sensei, sooo to both i send all my sincere compliments! 😊👏✨
Totally agree with you sweetie, the background for this piece really reflects some peaceful and serene spot of our beautiful Mother Earth that really makes us want to find that heavenly beach. I hope you can one day find a joyful place like this. 😉✨

I've been making a bit of a conscious effort of late to get art with friends as it was something I had not done much of in the past. So you are just seeing the culmination of that all at once haha. But keep practicing and working towards that goal and I am sure you can make it a reality one day!
