Edwin Sketch-a-Week: W30
🎨:
KittKatsuki
Look at this long boy! My two favorite things about this piece are how the artists approached the spots throughout the body and the lighter shade of blue used as an outline. They got a lot of mileage out of just those two techniques.
Detail = well over Fair. The peppered fur is divine and there is a nice mix of light and heavy shading (look at that left armpit).
Shape & Borders = just short of Sharp, Hard Lines. The separation between parts is extremely clear. Most of the lines have a lines are straight, though the silhouette is broken up by sharp tufts of fur.
Anthro type = Anthro. The ears and general shape of the skull.
Furry Art Style Category = Minimalistic, but almost crossing into Technical.

📣 Are you a furry writer?

Attention authors! Edwin@Work is planning to publish a slice-of-life anthology about furries searching for jobs and wants you to submit short stories for inclusion in this book.
Edwin@Work has generated over a year’s worth of tips to help fellow furries find a job. Instead of writing a regular self-help book, the plan is to build an anthology of short stories of a furry character in some part of the hiring process to illustrate useful job searching tips to the reader. Think of it as Aesop's Fables meets furries with a pinch of spice (though SFW).
Ideally, story submissions should be in the 800 – 1,200 word range. Accepted submissions will be compensated.
This is the last week of submission. The project ends August 1st at Midnight!!!
