About Her: Tabitha (Tabby to Esme, Scorch to her former blacksmithing mentor Garrick Ironfang) is heir to the Windborn kingdom, one of the six Tabaxi kingdoms in her world. Strong, smart and loyal, she is a fierce fighter when it comes both to her ability in combat and fighting for what she believes to be right. Gentle at heart, she cares deeply for her friends, family and loved ones and will do whatever she can to help and protect them - even at risk to herself. Developing an interest in blacksmithing when she was young, she found it impossible to persuade her parents to allow her to pursue it; in the eyes of her parents, not a ‘fitting’ profession for the heir to the throne. Fortunately, the best blacksmith in the kingdom, Garrick Ironfang - who also just so happens to be Commander of the Royal Guard and a close friend to Tabitha’s father recognised Tabitha’s potential and intense interest in Blacksmithing and persuaded her parents to allow her to follow it under his personal tutelage. Many years (and many patches of singed fur) later, Tabitha is second only to Garrick himself when it comes to her blacksmithing prowess and is on course to surpass him in due time - much to his immense pride (not that he’d ever admit it). She was also trained in combat by her father and Garrick and trained to be a battlemaster. The members of the Windborn family have always been trained in combat and in combat, always lead from the front, just as ready to do anything themselves as they might order a solider to do. This high-risk-high-reward approach leads to increased morale and loyalty within their army.

The armour she wears and swords she wields were all forged by her. The single-edged dagger she has was her first major, solo blacksmithing project.

Tabitha is engaged to High Lady Esmeralda Frostcrown of the neighbouring Frostcrown Kingdom.

She does not like wearing dresses, except for on her terms. Which naturally means that her mother (with no lack of encouragement from Tabitha’s fiancée Esme) tries to find an excuse for her to have to wear one as often as she possibly can. Much to her flustered embarrassment and grumblings of protest.
