This is a small herbivorous rodent with an unusual property. From time to time this creature swallows small pebbles along with its food. They get stuck in its sac-vessels above the neck and remain there as a small shield from the teeth of the predator. In moments of great danger or fear, Fraction's heart starts beating insanely fast, and a great pressure is formed in the pouches on his neck. It pushes all the pebbles in different directions with great speed, which can if not kill, then seriously injure a small predator. After that, it takes a very long time for Fraction to recover and only after a few days he can walk and feed normally again.
