In the distant corner of a distant land lies a small town of little note. Where, just on the outskirts, a pair of Landie brothers have arrived. Here they prepare to continue their tradition of questionable life choices.
Doofus- "C'mon. This will be great!"
Nitwit- "How will it be great again?"
Doofus- "We pull a cart and get free food out of it. They're going the same direction we are anyways!"
Nitwit- "I dunno..."
Doofus- "C'mon! We wont have to hunt or forage or anything. For the price of a little work. Easy!"
Nitwit- "That does sound nice but are you su-"
Doofus- "Thats the spirit! Dont you worry! You'll be thanking me when were done."
One hour later.
Driver- *cracks whip* "Hurry up beasts! We need to get there before nightfall!"
Nitwit- "....."
Doofus- *I don't think he's going to thank me when were done.*

wow what a nice picture. i guess they'll have a long time to think about that choice. Also depending on if the driver decides to keep them for other trips. In that case they have to stop making bad choices and start creating an escape plan, which would be hard in that gear. I would be so generous to take one shift from there shoulders. That gear looks so nice i want to try it. ;D
I'm not sure these two can come up with a good escape plan. Best they just get the work done and hope the driver lets them loose when they aren't needed anymore. Of course, as you said, they might be put to work hauling other things! Poor fellows. :)
I'm sure they wouldn't mind your offer of help so they can get some rest. Who knows, maybe they will sneak away then while they have the chance. You wouldn't mind, right? :)
