Anyone ever play 'Blazing Angels' or 'IL-2 Sturmovik'? I loved playing games like those, piloting a Spitfire over the shores of Dunkirk, the fields of Kent, and the suburbs of London, fighting off waves of Messerschmitt fighters and Heinkel bombers. Games like that, in addition to my fascination with history and a general affinity for civilian airplanes, really got me onto the mindset of wanting to fly. Indeed, I'd be lying if I said I haven't once, in the course of my time piloting Cessnas and Pipers, taken hold of the stick with both paws and gone 'daga-daga-daga-daga!'. ;-p

Nice shot of that Spitfire!
It's been a while since I've last heard about Blazing Angels, I think I still have the disc somewhere... And I do have way too many hours on IL-2, played for many years on 1946... Couldn't get the same feeling with Battle of Stalingrad, though... As for Cliffs of Dover, I still have it sitting in a HDD but haven't launched it in a while as I favorised DCS World, but it's a nice game, I really enjoyed the story of the campaign.
