Well... Jokes aside here, not trying to play mommy here buttttt.... I am hoping this is just a joke, it's just your character being silly, and you're not actually eating crayons for real. Even if they're non toxic, they're not meant to be eaten.
If it's not a joke and you are actually eating them for real... this sounds like Pika. It's a medical condition that commonly happens to pregnant women with low iron during pregnancy, but anyone can get this condition that has low iron. Which is the urge (or craving) to eat things that are inedible. Like rocks, clay, dirt, glass, and other stff that isn't food.. and yes that means crayons. Lol
