Captain Simon McIntosh (Callsign 'Elder') is the Officer Commanding of Special Operations Force 303. Although he keeps his actual age a close secret, it is known that he is the oldest member of the 303 -he first joined the British Army sometime in the late Cold War, quickly earning his place within the ranks of the Special Air Service. As the OC of S.O.F. 303, he is responsible for leading his unit during their numerous missions. As the senior-most officer, he reports directly to the 303's handler -usually a behind-the-scenes figure codenamed 'Mother'. Though cool and level-headed, Elder is also a serious and effective leader when called for.
